I used to listen to this in my shitty little apartment i had with my mom and tinker around with music a lot. i'd stay up late, have a few glasses of whiskey and unwind to this. it's all bittersweet, I miss the times that this beat tape reminds me of but I don't at the same time. funny how life works. one thing in life is sure, and it's that time will keep marching regardless of how you feel. it marches so slowly that you don't even realize the distance it's gone until you hear something like this that you used to love and it suddenly makes you aware of how 'far away' those times were. you ask yourself "how'd this happen?" and "wow, why am I so different now?" then slowly realize it was the cruel, slow march of time that brought you here.
