Stumbled across this again for the first time in 6/7 years, the nostalgia is bittersweet. Reminds me of beautiful times and some truly amazing people, some of which aren't with us anymore. I've found the woman I'll spend the rest of my life with and had two perfect children. Yet I have lost so many great friends and family, some who moved others who have passed. Life is moving so incredibly fast now and its terrifying trying to make sure I take in as much as I can, its nice to just put on a playlist like this and turn your mind off for a bit.
For 11 months, this has been my go to mix for everything. Every time i'm stuck in my feelings and my existential depression I turn this on, and then everything sort of makes sense. I still feel as if I am nothing and have trouble accepting it, but this always brings my feelings out. Every time I hear this mix, I cry. It allows me to express how I truly feel and explore myself. I never do find the answer but I never give up. Before I discovered this mix, I would always turn to the darker side, and contemplate suicide, and drown in my own fears and insecurities. After discovering it, I listen to it and become determined. It reminds me that I truly do want to live, even if I have no reason to. It reminds me of every great thing that has happened in my life and makes me realize the beauty of everything. I may feel worthless, but life is definitely worth it. I think of all the great times I've had as a kid, to all the fights and misunderstandings I've had with my family, and the times I took too many drugs to name to "enjoy" life. It has helped me discover a lot, and has even gotten me to push myself away from all the drugs and alcohol. Even if I don't feel appreciated or meaningful, I think life is. So every single day, I try new stuff and take new approaches to everything. I have discovered a lot of things I enjoy, like fishing, reading, and embracing my feelings instead of hiding them and pushing them away. I always try to move forward, learn, and grow. I do my best to help others and teach them things. I constantly ask questions and learn. I let my feelings out instead of digging a deeper hole and beat myself to death for being who I am. I now embrace it and do everything I can to continue to grow. Each day is a new opportunity, and no matter what happens, I never just "give up". I may still be searching but in a sense I am found. This and Dozing Off are 2 of my favourite YT Videos of all time. The combination of the visuals, the music and a bit of weed is just next level, dude... I first listened to this a few years ago when I was still with the girl I loved, but now this video has taken on a whole different meaning for me. Shit dude. After all this time that I spent trying to find who I really am, why I'm here, If I'm even alive, if I've ever been and what being alive actually means, I lost something along the way. I'm not religious or anything, but this year made me feel like something has vanished from my body. Something that made me feel alive. Something that gave me purpose, made me want to wake up in the morning to chase my goals. A motivation to move fowards, something that allows me to enjoy myself and have fun, to make experiences and take in life. Something like... a soul. So in a way, here I am, starting at zero again, with nothing backing me up, all by myself, just wandering this world without purpose or any kind of goal or meaning, just trying to live in the moment but instead being chained by the past and not knowing how to move foward, not knowing what foward means, floating in empty space, walking alone, soul searching. To those who come across this in the future, here’s a personal journal. Journey Of Self: Self discovery is a hard one, it’s usually a constant journey. The hardest part is the beginning, this is the stage where you slowly disconnect yourself from trying to be someone for others. This is where you learn how to talk to yourself, hold conversations with yourself, listen to your emotions, thoughts, and sensations as if you were being pinched, it’s there but you know it’s temporary and it will go away, some dabble in meditation, more mental based substances, therapy, deeper conversations, etc., things of this nature. The middle stage is a stage where most of your life will likely be, this is doing things you truly want to experience within your lifetime, what type of morals, etc., you want to have and these are constantly being revised and tested as you have new experiences over the years. Make a focus to not get stuck in a way of thinking about the world, challenge yourself philosophically by objectively viewing your own world view to see if you still agree with it.
90s children lived through the greatest era of anime, and now we can as a generation look back onto this painted sunset and reminisce on that "one day".

This and Dozing Off are 2 of my favourite YT Videos of all time. The combination of the visuals, the music and a bit of weed is just next level, dude... I first listened to this a few years ago when I was still with the girl I loved, but now this video has taken on a whole different meaning for me. Shit dude.
After all this time that I spent trying to find who I really am, why I'm here, If I'm even alive, if I've ever been and what being alive actually means, I lost something along the way. I'm not religious or anything, but this year made me feel like something has vanished from my body. Something that made me feel alive. Something that gave me purpose, made me want to wake up in the morning to chase my goals. A motivation to move fowards, something that allows me to enjoy myself and have fun, to make experiences and take in life. Something like... a soul.
So in a way, here I am, starting at zero again, with nothing backing me up, all by myself, just wandering this world without purpose or any kind of goal or meaning, just trying to live in the moment but instead being chained by the past and not knowing how to move foward, not knowing what foward means, floating in empty space, walking alone, soul searching.

After all these years I have come to share your view on the matter.
To those who come across this in the future, here’s a personal journal.
Journey Of Self:
Self discovery is a hard one, it’s usually a constant journey. The hardest part is the beginning, this is the stage where you slowly disconnect yourself from trying to be someone for others. This is where you learn how to talk to yourself, hold conversations with yourself, listen to your emotions, thoughts, and sensations as if you were being pinched, it’s there but you know it’s temporary and it will go away, some dabble in meditation, more mental based substances, therapy, deeper conversations, etc., things of this nature. The middle stage is a stage where most of your life will likely be, this is doing things you truly want to experience within your lifetime, what type of morals, etc., you want to have and these are constantly being revised and tested as you have new experiences over the years. Make a focus to not get stuck in a way of thinking about the world, challenge yourself philosophically by objectively viewing your own world view to see if you still agree with it.
