I used to go to Lake Texoma, Kingston, Madill and Durant a lot, so I think I can find him pretty easy.
We have several rows of those orange tubs for the same purpose! I have filled them 1/3 full of woodchips and the drain hole is about the same area. This allows me to treat it as a mini hugelculture bed and also to use less growing medium. I have no tube for water, but instead allow rain to collect in the bottom where the woodchips will separate the growing medium from as well as absorb some of the water.
I was considering the use of free woodchips in the bottom of planting barrels but would like to know if others are having good results from doing this.
Can’t believe how much Houston is grown.
So funny Houston can hit that ball but he kept missing on the high 5. LOL My mother use to make the best fig preserves. She never used pectin and would cook the syrup until it was like eating candy. I can never see a fig tree or a pear tree without thinking of her preserves.

Can you explain your feeding system more detailed? How you feed your drip line with fertilizer? Do you use that 10-4-3 all the way through or do you switch it to a higher phosphorus?

I don't understand the instructions for using fertilizer. Leon says to use 1/2 cup sustane and 1/4 cup sea mineral. But then also says to use nature's source. When do you each of these?!

Daniel: I just built a high tunnel this spring. How often do you water in your tunnel?
Well the warmer it get the more I have to water. During the cool months it might be more than a week between watering. Right now I’m watering about every 2-3 days except for the seedlings. They have to be watered really often.
Are you going to get another high tunnel?
I don't have plans to get another one at this time.
