I have use milorganite for over 10 years and my lawn stays green all year long, even have grass growing under my large oak tree, this stuff is the best fertilizer

Moorganite isn't "fake". It's just a relatively new alternative to Milorganite. Moorganite is made by Earth Science. Similar to Milorganite, its made from recycled natural materials, specifically dairy cow manure and chicken feather meal; whereas, Milorganite's source is treated wastewater. Home Depot was actually pointing customers to the milorganite alternatives last summer. They had a huge sign that read “no milorganite, no problem. Buy this instead”
This is gonna be a great series. I really hope it opens some people's eyes as I can already tell where you're going with all of this. Well done bud! 👍🏼

I am glad that more places are making versions of Milo. I just wish every state would use their human waste byproducts like this to pull people away from the synthetics so we can be less reliant on foreign countries for fertilizer and chemical compounds . If biosolid ferts become so readily available that there is enough for farmers to be able to natural and organic compost and similar products for their crops at a big discount than the prices of food and everything would drop and farmers can be profitable again. Thousands of small farms have filed for bankruptcy and been sold to investors who just want the farmland at a massive discount. As well the plants could help subsidize the farming industry as there would be enough plants manufacturing the products that there would be profit available enough to do so. Which would make a big impact on the country.

Great video brother! Keep on rocking! Also be on the looking for major discounts at the big box stores right now. I scooped up 4 BioAdvanced Lawn Fungus spray bottles (Propiconizole) for $1 each!!!! Normally $21.98 a pop. Over $80 worth of product for $4! Still on cloud 9 about that one.
My local big box has been sold out of Milorganite for so long that they now have a "looking for Milorganite?" sign that suggests trying one of the fakes. Unfortunately none of the fakes work as well.
Oh good. Smaller bags. I have a big yard, but I find that I only need half to 3/4 of the bag at most. I haven't done Milo in years. I haven't been able to find it. Last time I saw it was 2019.
Allyn that Moorganite or whatever it’s called is definitely a bio solid. Saying it’s not is wrong. It’s derived from chicken and cow manure and feather meal (heat processed poultry feathers) which are all considered bio solids.
You should compare Milorganite with GreenEdge. Its Guaranteed analysis pegs it at 6-3-0 with Ca and Mg in addition the Fe. It's also derived from Biosolids. It covers 4800 sq ft at $29.65 per 40# bag. It says it's got 25% humic and fulvic in it.

I just purchased 5 pallets at a discounted $8 per bag, selling it at my store for $18 per bag, already have 55 of them sold, I should clear $5300 after all said and done. Love it when companies overprice and I just go buy it discounted and tax free, then sell it even cheaper than they do and make a killin, it just shows how much they out price themselves

I would like to try your fert, but I want to know the PFAS content first. Here in Michigan we had the whole PFAS issue in Rockford and it is a concern
Why are more people not talking about PFA's @The Lawn Care Nut?
Great video brother! Keep on rocking! Also be on the looking for major discounts at the big box stores right now. I scooped up 4 BioAdvanced Lawn Fungus spray bottles (Propiconizole) for $1 each!!!! Normally $21.98 a pop. Over $80 worth of product for $4! Still on cloud 9 about that one.
What’s up Al what!!! Home Depot gave you your own setup in store sweet BOSS moves love it Logan Square
That’s his warehouse but the racks look just like Home Depot 🤣
@@gpoman9988 ah man he got me smh
My local big box has been sold out of Milorganite for so long that they now have a "looking for Milorganite?" sign that suggests trying one of the fakes. Unfortunately none of the fakes work as well.
Hey Al, in your next video can you talk about which of these contain PFAS? Thanks!
Yeah that's just not in my wheelhouse, sorry.
I’m in Florida panhandle area Which fertilizer should I throw down first stress blend or flagship on St.Augustine and Centipede grass
Stress Blend would be great right now.
@@TheLawnCareNut thank you love your videos
Walmart had 40lb Moorganite on sale for $9.99. Smelled and tasted like Milo. Picked up 20 bags
Another great video!!
Oh good. Smaller bags. I have a big yard, but I find that I only need half to 3/4 of the bag at most. I haven't done Milo in years. I haven't been able to find it. Last time I saw it was 2019.
Does anyone notice more mushrooms popping up using these non-synthetic fertilizers? I do.
Allyn that Moorganite or whatever it’s called is definitely a bio solid. Saying it’s not is wrong.
It’s derived from chicken and cow manure and feather meal (heat processed poultry feathers) which are all considered bio solids.
Oh I see you are working for Home Depot!!
I looked in every store here and didn't see it. Maybe its just a regional thing
@@TheLawnCareNut SiteOne in Orlando has it. I've been using this stuff for the last two years as my alternate to 7-0-20 on my off month for my zoysia. I cycle between 7-0-20 and GreenEdge every 4 to 6 weeks. About 5 feeding of each per year.
Where are you finding milorganite for plus $30? My co-op is selling original milo for $9.99 for the big bag, 32lbs. I dont use it but your pricing seems ridiculous wherever you bought it, guess I should buy pallets of this stuff and resell it online.
It's $17.99/bag. I'll cover the math in the next video and I think that will answer your questions.
Update I sold it all! 7 days to unload feed it all, gonna buy two more pallets today, thanks
i do use milo and it has proven to me it`s a great product but i`m sure there are better fertilizers out there i`m just not that educated on it. Thanks for the break down it was very helpful.
you will like the video I release tonight, lots of math 😂
I have been using MILORGANITE for years and will never buy the fake stuff,,, it is hard to find now so last month when I found it I purchased 6 bags,, enough for about 3.5 years,,I have St Aug.
Could you do an analysis of foreign substance in Milorganite? Waste from a treatment facility could have pharmaceuticals and illicit drugs.
sounds like something activists with an agenda would promote 😇
@@TheLawnCareNut I’m an engineer that worked on several projects in waste water management in IL and Broward Co, FL. I also lived near Milwaukee and know the historical and current toxicity of their wastewater that is pumped into Lake Michigan. I guess you have some homework to do. 😇
@@stokesjo82 I did some similar homework on organic peanuts once and found that hundreds die yearly from them. It was then that I realized we are all doomed and the Bible has been right all along.
@@TheLawnCareNut I’m on a well so it’s important to know what’s going in my system. No worries, I’ll figure it out.
Too expensive now. Can’t afford to use it on my lawn. $22 a bag for people crap. Crazy.
What about using liquid iron on my St. Augustine lawn?
People over-talk the effectiveness of liquid iron. It's a tool, but it will never replace nitrogen.
I plan on using it in the summer during the fertilizer ban when I need a green pop.
@@gpoman9988 That's what I'm doing as well.
