    My husband planted the rest of our Tomatoe transplants( 8) in 1 of the 4x8 raised beds - I had asked Gary from Rusted garden what is ok to plant in the 3 - 4x8 raised beds I dug Our onions from last week , I will send you a Email of all the onions from Hoss tools & dixondale farms , so proud of myself ,
    But sadly , I was just about done & felt a pop in my neck , now tingling fingers, hands, numbness , severe pain , went to our Dr had a CT SCAN as already had back fusion at 39 ,
    Got a hernitated disc in my cervical , very concerning .
    Please keep me in your prayers .
    God bless you & your wife .

      That's not too bad of a price, especially if the plastic is pretty thick 👍

    Good info t.p. we do organic mostly. We use liquid nutrients as well as granular. My point is, weather seems to dictate results More so than anything. Just my odservations.

    Can you confirm if it's on the 16 oz line of the measuring cup you used or is it actually 1 pound measured weight after cup is zeroed out on the scale. Thanks.

      One full pound measured weight.

    I follow your blackberry videos too,
    Just picking our first ones this week already of the Prime Arks.
    Using the 20-20-20 in them for my Tubs…
    But where do you get the 10-20-10 fertilizer? I went to Hoss and didn’t see it there when I ordered the 20-20-20
    Thanks!

      Nope... this is from my local feed store.
      Big Box stores might have it too

    G with Leon recommends changing the soil in your wicking tubs every year. I know you don’t redo the blackberries. Do you also follow this protocol with other crops?

    • @BIGALTX
      @BIGALTX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you may have misheard him
      I don't think Leon ever changes his potting mix.
      I've heard him say it lasts for many years...

    Do you ever plant hairloom veges

    • @BIGALTX
      @BIGALTX  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes, but they are harder to grow (diseases, etc)

    I was going to ask since I had to cut my 55 yr old figs even with the ground would I get any figs this year

    • @BIGALTX
      @BIGALTX  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe a few, but most figs produce on LAST year's growth :(

      How are you handling this hot summer with your tomatoes in the wicking containers?

    • @BIGALTX
      @BIGALTX  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Everything looks great!
      Most of the tomatoes are in Earthboxes, but still...great: th-cam.com/video/Smt3kcaz0PI/w-d-xo.html

    Wow that's a lot of fertilizer. Seem like a bit much to do every planting

    • @BIGALTX
      @BIGALTX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      May be... but it works.
      Might could get along with less, but 1 LB is what EarthBox recommends too

    Well, I am severely under fertilizer I see

    • @BIGALTX
      @BIGALTX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hahaha... Well, this may be too much, but it works well... and for quite a while
      I think it has to do with the "wicking action" of the tubs
