ciao , ho fatto 2 serie di prove , la Gain Master contro la EH, ma penso non ti riferisci a quella prova .

Posso aggiungere anche la Mantova 1 essa riesce fare anche Signal 9 + 2 Tacche , ma deve restare inclinata di circa 5 o 10 gradi, tenuta perfettamente verticale è eguale alla Sirio gain Master.

Ho provato la bt 101 tagra la mantova turbo e la spit gain 24 radiali l'unica con il rumore più basso è la bt101 ha un buon rapporto fra segnali in zone buca e quello libero non soffre la qsb l'unico difetto è la fragilità io metterei al 1 posto la tagra fra altro l'istallazione della stessa a pari palo sta 5 metri più sotto quindi ci sarebbe da provarla con 5 mt in più solo in quel modo si può effettivamente vedere se il segnale diretto colpisce l'antenna in quel caso lo smeter può salire anche di 2 punti cosa risaputa con lauto 50 cm cambia tutto
Antenna tip should be at the same height to compare them 1:1 and test the antenna at various heights, and 2nd, do not trust the S-Meter on the TS2000 on FM, S-Meter linearity is absolutely garbage! and test the antennas on proper cb frequency 27.200MHz where most antennas on the market are designed ( coils and so on are tuned for 27.2, not a alienated 27.420 frequency) thank you for the test.
Ciao e complimenti. Avrei bisogno di sapre come fissi il palo che sorregge le antenne a terra, mi sarebbe molto utile per fare un'installazione simile, ma non capisco come fissare il palo sul terreno. grazie mille
Noi avevamo usato un tripode, tuttavia per un installazione fissa , ti direi di rare una buca, di infilarci un pazzo del palo e chiudere la buca con del cemento , una volta solidificato aggiungere l antenna ed alzare il palo telescopico. Attenzione ad alzare il palo assicurarsi di non ritrovarsi ad aver terminato il palo. Preventivamente segnare con un pennarello o vernice rossa l avvicinarsi della fine del palo. Ciao. In3hwu

Beh grazie, le differenze tra le 3 5/8 ( gainmaster, sirio tornado27, mantova1 ) come e' noto sono appena percepibili, lo avevo immaginato gia' prima del video.
La prova della tagra deve essere fatta a pari altezza la bt 101 è 1/4onda senza cappello capacitivo 5/8 con capp capacitivo

I have the 827 and the Gain Master...the 827 is far superior than the gain master as it appears to be very noisy dragging in any man made qrm producing a high noise floor. I also added the Tornado for a time, average at best but at a budget price, also it cam down in the first storm...

The POS 827 isn't even a true 5/8, it's a couple feet TOO SHORT and is made with junk pot metal and will semi-conduct sooner than later.
The GM is a bad ass antenna with all five 8ths in phase. All ya gotta do is get it up at least 41' and far away from any other antennas, trees, etc.

Based on what I've heard & been told, the 827 is probably Sirio's sturdiest metal antenna,
but it's the design which has a Maco-style shortened so-called 5/8 wave when it's really a lengthened 1/2 wave - since it's more voltage fed than current fed, regardless of what some wanna-be antenna-god decibellbrain states.
He lies.
If you want to talk into a more upward pattern angle (15°-22°) than the full 5/8 (9°) angle then the 827 or Maco V58 will provide that.
They're better at short skip or through mountainous terrain but if a lower angle is desired, the full 5/8 Penetrator or Gain Master are superior on the horizon.
827 build quality is questionable. I've heard it said that Sirio build their antennas for indoor use only - lol

Si, l'attenuatore era volutamente acceso, dalla parte del TX abbiamo tenuto una potenza superiore alla media al fine di sovrastare eventuali disturbi, successivamente dalla parte della ricezione abbiamo testato le varie antenne utilizzando sempre gli stessi parametri. Ciao.
Ma non sarebbe più corretto testarle in ssb essendo 5/8 e avendo un lobo consono al DX?
si esatto ! tuttavia i Segnali DX sono affetti da QSB e per ciò difficilmente controllabili e paragonabili

I've mounted five antennas at the exact same height and position on the same pole at a height of 30 feet over a year.. the Sirio's 827-2016-2008 all 5/8th waves.. and also a President Himalaya half wave.. and a Gainmaster 5/8th wave..
Both the Himalaya and Gainmaster out performed all the Sirio's on transmit and receive.. but the Gainmaster out performed them all.. my tests were done using FM on 20 watts transmitted power to a station 25 miles away who was using a York JCB 863 CB radio.. and the recieving station's antenna was a Antron 99..
I think also location we live and environment is a key factor and what antenna works for one station may not work for another.. but I have to say the Gainmaster for me at my location worked better and was also the antenna which gave me the least noise.

Mille Grazie . I have in aouth Poland Citta Cracovia Polonia ... quattro..no cinque antena ... Tornado 27 .( for a Dx in vertical) . Avannti Astroplane for local .. Avanti Astrobeam for local with directione rotor .. and President Black Pitrate for local and wind days ( fiberglass pipe) ... under i have allways 3 el Yagi horizontal CTE spitfite with direct plug ( for a lighting and storm ) This is my favorite antenas last 30 yrs . In 1997 i had Sirtel 2000 but in a Cracovia in 1997 Was many Storm and Weather was wrong ... Flood .. Broken coil when mast was broken on wind ... :( .. Was super Sirtel 2000 .. Ottima prova ma la gainmaster in altre bande e sorda totalmente testata da me va benissimo in 10 11 12 in altre si perde cmq purtroppo ho problemi sul tetto unica antenna per andare in hf con tuner fino a 40 metri ho testato sia la Mantova 5 che la sirio 2016 con ottimi risultati la gain la consiglio per chi vuole divertirsi in 10 11 12 in altre bande anche con tuner no buona saluti
