I've been using the Hurricane 2.0 as a tail pack along with the Hurricane Dual Sport saddlebags on a CRF300L Rally. It's been a great setup. I've considered that a dedicated tail pack might be easier than rolling an opening, but I like the beavertail flap on the Hurricane 2.0 too much to ever give it up for anything else.
Great feedback! Thank you for your support. While I LOVE the structure of the 28L Hurricane Tail Bag, it is that same structure that I dislike at the same time when I opt to take the Hurricane 2.0... Choices choices.
Order placed. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I don’t those the tail bag is listed in the hurricane section. I had to use your link to find it. And I called. Nelson Rigg has the best support I’ve ever experienced.
We'd love to add a Pan Am to the fleet. We did just pick up a Low Rider S for expansion of our HD line of gear. The Pan Am does wear our gear well though. Check this out: th-cam.com/video/EUEjLVnqMy4/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Agreed! I used it for years (like 20 years) before working with Nelson Rigg. The quality just keep getting better as well as the functionality. I love how fluid the company is when it comes to making changes and addressing issues. Just fantastic.
Looking for dual sport saddle bags for my new KTM 890 Adventure R and my old 525EXC. Leaning towards the Hurricane version. Possibly even the 25L rear bag. What does something like that weigh when empty? I'm located in SoCal and could meet up and test fit different options. Love your channel.
Sounds awesome! Nelson Rigg is in Santa Ana and I'm in San Clemente. If to come to the office we could test fit and I've got a discount of 25% for you too.
@manybikes I'll try and find it on the Web as at airport now. Going to work. Be back in aweek. Think I may just get the small one and use my other soft bag for overnighters. Gives me more options. Thanks mate for all your videos they have been a great resource. From Australia.
Always nice to have quality gear at reasonable price, I had Neslson Rigg saddle bags about 15 years ago and wow did the quality improved over the year, but not much price wise.

@@manybikes , awesome! Defiantly interested in the 25L top bag, but it looks like out of stock at the moment. I did the notification reminder.
@@Billet_Badger I've got a used 25L I can seek you for a smoking deal ;) 209-596-2260
@@manybikes , Just called. Left VM with return number.
Would that 27l tail bag fit on the CRF 300 ok? That would be big enough for all my camping gear for a couple of days.
Do you have a small rack on your bike?
@manybikes I have the thai rack yes it's not to large 230mm at front rear of seat and 190mm at rear over mudguard.

Awesome! Safe travels.
The 12L looks awesome. It's bigger than a tank bag, but not so big it will create any significant drag on the highway. - Frank
I sure like it for daily wear!
