- There is a HUGE difference between the Stock Suzuki Vstrom 800DE Windscreen and the Short / Mid / Tall Vstream winscreens from National Cycle. In addition to clean air, these shields provide optical clarity and increased protection. Check them out here:

Looking forward to your review of the 800 DE, when i rode it at Sturgis Get On, i was impressed with it. Im not sure its good enough to replace my T7, but its getting really close.
It will not replace your T7 as a dirt bike, but I really like it as a street bike better than the T7
Good comparison but I would have also liked to see how they looked on the bike more. Keep posting!
@@iamtubuler9266 there are photos all over the web with bike pics. Next to noting from the riders point of view. Trying to fill a void. I should have included some more walk arounds... showing how it looks. I'll create a new one.

Entered. Good luck!!!
I am actually running the oem tall windshield on my 800de and love it
I read one guy’s review and he said it was terribly turbulent. And a lot of vibration. What are your experiences with the tall screen?

Good luck!!!
2 quick questions 🙋🏻 how tall are you? And how tall are the screens from the top two mounting point screws. I am deciding between the short and mid and don’t own a peaked helmet. So this info would really help my decision.
I am 5' 9" Tall. In this video at 2:19 I show the mounting holes and the spacing and they are 1" apart: th-cam.com/video/qMPrphihz3Q/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared&t=139

Good luck!
I just purchased this for my HD Pan America. Can't wait to get it installed. Thanks for the review, please keep them coming.
Will do!
The mid looks like the one to have. I am very disappointed in how poorly my Givi Airflow has aged. Not clear, full of scratches... - Frank
National Cycle is the king when it comes to Optics, that's for sure! That aerospace technology...
Thanks! I've found your content very valuable.
Thanks so much! Happy to be of assistance!!!
So which did you prefer if it had been your own bike...and how tall are you?
I'm 5' 9" tall. I like the look of the short best, but the Mid is what I'd choose for normal everyday riding.
The beginning of this video is the story of my life when wrenching....
Man oh man... I looked for it when the bike was in place.... couldn't find it and was going to look "as soon as I moved the bike"... 5 miles down the road I was like... "Oh man! The screw!!!" Had to double back and when I arrived I interrupted a make out session of the Harley riders ;) oops!!!

which one are you keeping ?
The bike went back to Suzuki... I like the LOW version the best. For touring though... that tall screen was nice!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I ride the 800 DE adventure, so windscreen is always a topic of discussion. By the way, when did you get your hands on a V Strom 800 DE?! Such a great bike!
Always appreciate your content, Kyle and your advice!
It's a fantastic machine! I put 1200 miles on it over the past two weeks and sadly returned it to Suzuki this afternoon. My 1k mile review will be forthcoming. If I had one word to describe the bike it would be "SOLID" I really liked it.
@@manybikes looking forward to your review. I am at 8,000 miles in 10 months. No issues at all. Love it.
