Rest now Burke by far Budgies my favorite Heavy band. And Burke wrote some of the greatest songs ever bar none. The original line up can't be touched. Rest now Dude you will be missed.

The name of the album says it all! Their timing couldn't have been better when they released this and the preceding EP. Nwobhm and all that. They reminded us of who was still boss! I played a show with Burke and Steve and I actually got to play Burkes bass for a couple of minutes. It was like King Arthur letting me borrow his sword to cut up some cords of wood. Priceless!

DUDE, you got to play Burke's bass? I'm jealous.

@@thepedalkickers2701 The funniest part of it was the fact that Steve was going to use my drums but when he got behind them his feet wouldn't reach the foot pedals. I'm 6'5" and can barely play them as they were made for a giant. He said "Sorry mate, can't use these". Then the venue owner pulled out his drum kit he had locked in a closet. The show went on.

@@supermamamaxi Again, very jealous. That whole thing must have been quite a bit of fun. Too bad I wasn't around in that time period. It would be great if I was able to see them live, but I only learned about budgie a few years ago. I guess playing along to their music is the next best thing.

thanks mate. i've got a bit of the remasters, but most of them are just low quality versions that i've mastered. and yes, a brilliant album.

I like this work...it isn't the top by budgie but I think that it's a good album.

One of BUDGIE'S heaviest albums! Maybe even heavier than the earlier albums, but just in a different way!!
