These fish look like they should look normally. The fish are still relatively young at the time of the video. But that's the normal coloring outside of the breeding season anyway. The temperature is in the range of 24-25°C. For breeding I then increase the temperature to 28°C. During this time the male is beautiful.

These are wild bettas.. they dun colour up as readily as domestics. They seems healthy to me.

This is Betta Imbellis.. the gill plate is blue/green. Splendens is red.
