Some people might have pointed it out already, but the bullets you see in the opening scene are his so called "origin bullets". They pretty much destroy magi's magical circuits. He used them in the fight against Kayneth which was why his body and magigal circuits were damaged so badly. You can actually see a glimpse of that scene here in the episode from season 1.
surprises me in basically every reaction i watch of this episode, nobody remembers theyve already seen and been explained bits from that scene in that previous s1 episode. most people are like "oh what are these bullets and what do they do thats interesting" when theyve already been shown this exact scene before when he uses one on kayneth but forgot it lol
5:20 Welcome to Nasuverse. You may find other info in other series including anime, visual novels or even spin-offs. Everything is cannon and related in one way or another 😂😂😂. For example, Tsukihime is directly related to “Dead apostles” mentioned in the previous ep
Remember Tokiomi's list in episode 1 that detailed everything Kiritsugu did to kill his targets? Do you remember that taking down an entire plane was on that list?
Ghouls on a plane... always bad news. Apparently, it's almost impossible to parachute out of an airliner (something about the way the doors open and the pressure). Also, taking a parachute ONTO an airliner always alerts security (you CAN do so if you have appropriate certificates that show you're part of, say, a sky jumping club, but it would attract extra scrutiny, which isn't something an assassin wants...)
5:08 im so annoyed by how far into the deep end he leans with that conclusion of his. Glad there is diversity in peoples reactions, but he rly takes that unconfirmed idea and runs with it too far. Frustrating to listen to, espically since its actually important to the plot LOL

@@ToidleboyGamingprobably because of information overload if they're reacting to other anime on a set schedule
I thought 16 and 15 were masterclasses of an episode but this, this one blew my mind. Fate/Zero is so damn good

the two most well put backstory episodes i think ive seen in an anime
19:35 Well said, you could say Kirei's been a machine his whole life and he's just now learning how to be a human

hero of justice. After finishing Fate zero continues Fate stay night from 2006, that is its true continuation
this is my most fav episode of fate zero. it may be my most fav episode in 2023 of all series.
Happy Mother's Day!! 🎉🎉🎉

The end of this episode is phenomenal in a heart breaking way......😢
Very good episode and ending, and really does explain who Kiri is.
