Don't care about the price. Let me know when this thing can vacuum stairs, dust, do laundry, wash counters, clean bathroom, and load the dishwasher. I need a maid that doesn't steal from me. Lol!
Tesla is so ahead in the game for automotive manufacturing in comparison to legacy automakers, it's not even funny. It is disrupting the automotive industry the way that Amazon disrupted the retail industry with it's wide use of automation. So the more generic use robots are used in it's manufacturing facilities, the faster they will produce, and the cheaper the product. Most people don't understand what a generic use robot with good finger dexterity can do. Imagine NEO in the Matrix, learning how to Kung Fu within a few seconds of data uploading to his brain. It will be that fast for a generic use robot, to obtain training data for any given task, and just start doing that task like an expert. You want it to build you a cabinet? Just upload the training data to it, give it the raw materials and let it go to work. You want it to build you a gazebo or a backyard patio? Same thing. You want to start a house construction business? Just buy a few of these robots and you are good to go! We are getting there, and it is very exciting to imagine the possibilities.
Thank you! What you describe about the potential of shared robots like Optimus is truly an impressive and revolutionary vision. The combination of dexterity in manipulation and the ability to learn quickly from data could open up a world of possibilities for industries beyond just auto manufacturing. If Tesla continues to develop robots at the pace and vision they have, the proliferation of robots capable of performing complex tasks could radically change the way we work and live. This vision also means that manufacturing, construction, and even service processes could become faster, more precise, and more flexible than ever before. The future you describe, where people can easily leverage robots to start businesses or do personal projects, is truly exciting and could be the next big thing in the technological revolution.
Tesla Bot Optimus Gen 3 is going to bring exciting times! Massive changes are promised by Elon Musk's new plan for 2025. This investigation shows that the field of AI-powered humanoid robots is developing quickly.
I'd definitely buy one when self learning and speed issues are resolved. It would be a priceless helper in tending soil and helping with laboureous farm chores!
The Fed's talk of interest rate cut leaves me pondering what stocks to buy now and when do I sell? I'm unsure how to properly allocate my money to achieve an optimal portfolio in this present economy, my goal is $3m for retirement.
Navigating market volatility can be challenging, it might be beneficial consulting with an advisor to provide personalized insights based on your specific situation and financial position.
No doubt, getting proper financial advice is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and just yielded 120% from early last year. I and my advisor are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take another year.
I've got a challenge for Mr Musk which may or may not end up delightful for all sides, it's a shame that people like me never get to chat with people like him. lol
Optimus could help revolutionize the ship building industry in the United States. There is a massive skilled labor shortage in both commercial and military procurement
I see a lot of complex moving parts that will wear. That means maintenance costs will probably be high. Considering that, it will probably be much better to rent or lease than buy..
Never mind putting them in factories and taking jobs, put them in people's homes to help out. Oh and people could then lease robots back to the company for a salary, no need for unemployment! Win win!
No more anxiety no more fear of robots because I have suddenly understood that all is created from our deep desires according to our needs. People frequently deny their free will and refuse their own responsibility. Nothing is perfect in our world that means we have still so much to do and the path to the perfection is still long and we have to advance continuously and consciously. I have so many experiences to see accomplished my wishes only with my thinking. Don’t mistake my words I’m not here to promote all this kind of “personal development “ or “universe’s secret “, I’m just Christian❤
Ah, Elon Musk-the guy who's so determined to make us all redundant that we'll soon need robots just to remind us how to breathe. I mean, who wouldn't want a life where our biggest daily struggle is deciding whether our second robot should make us artisanal sourdough or just order takeout? Honestly, I'm all in for this future where robots peel our eggs so perfectly that even nature feels a bit insecure. Because, let's be real, what good is humanity if we can't focus on what truly matters: perfecting the art of doing absolutely nothing. And the best part? Two robots per person! Because obviously, one robot simply isn't enough to handle the complex task of folding socks and remembering Wi-Fi passwords. I can already picture my bots chilling out together, debating the meaning of life while I pretend to work in VR. So yeah, Elon, bring on the robot takeover. I'm ready to sit back, relax, and let Optimus take the wheel. Just don't ask me to set up the robots-I’ll wait for the model that comes pre-installed with a 'do everything for me' feature.
Sarcasm duly noted, but I can see the robot being very useful for the elderly. People like my dad could really use one. There's also a lot of potential in the bot making money, or maybe repairing your broken bike or other appliances you need to pay someone for. As always, new tech might seem radical or inane to older generations, but the upcoming generations will find them a necessity, like FSD will become. I'm sure future generations will wonder how people sat in cars and stared at the road for hours on end without losing concentration or going mad. If you can invest $20,000 in a bot to make you money over the long time, it'd be almost like owning real estate without having to go through the usual hassle of logistics. They could take over dangerous jobs, and jobs people don't want to do. The application is limitless. That is, of course, if it can do what Elon says it can do 😂
@@aus2908what if Elon decides to grow a curly hair up his ass and equipp with a destructive mode and he would control the chip software to make all robots listen to him
I just always been told one day we will have to live off the land and money will have no monetary value it'll be gold diamonds peals embers saffires rubys.. I mean I like to think I see where humanity will end up I mean not everything Tesla makes is the best and works right look at all his electric cars driving themselves and wrecking themselves cuz they gave a car a feature it should have never had.. well run into a horrible situation with the robots. I think if don't open the brain is the best ways, try to invent something to improve your brain, such as eat food and wear hats and wear earphones and wear glasses and sports and make you and people to feel like happy.
Yeah, it's cool and all watching these robots work, but frankly if I was the manager of a manufacturing floor and I saw an employee moving that slow it would find itself sitting in the scrap heap behind the building before the day was out! Cool yes, practical no....
You're not taking into consideration that the robots can work 24/7, cost way less a year as they don't need a constant salary (just maybe some maintenance every now and then). And as they are cheaper than a human (at least in the long run), you could get several extra per one human worker, thus adding up to be faster collectively. So, even if you would replace 10 workers with 10 robots, them working 24/7 still could mean they get as much, or more done than a human. Also, nice to not having to worry about humans getting sick and need sick leave, or something with their kids, no vacations. Robots will make companies way more money than humans, is what I'm saying, as long as one really thinks about what they offer and isn't narrow-minded.
I understand the benefits that you discussed but what I was talking about was pure production speed. Unless there are vast improvements made a human being could place 50 of those batteries in the container in the time that that robot puts five in there. Like I said, it's cool looking but just not practical at this point. Matter of my opinion. But I'm sure with time things will improve and speed up.
Totally agree. Slow as shiet when stuff needs to get done, right away! Or you'll lose the business of that company. Optimus is just a little toy in its current state. And I see zero value for "at home" use right now....nothing, not even close.
