I’m a mum of a Y13, my child , applied to this A100 course. As mum, please can help with a query with Entry Requirements about UCAS points used at QMU
-is this the only university that uses UCAS?
My understanding is this:
- my child is predicted A* Biology
A Chemistry
A non-science Subject
Totally = 152 Ucas points
The 4th subject - an Equivalent A level is listed on the UCAS calculator and with the Predicted A grade adds an additional 48.
So is the ucas points 152 or 200 (with the 4th subject)
I’ve sent an email to them about this and we are booked for Open Day - can I ask anyone on the Open Day about this?

So barts uses 50:50 UCAT and UCAS, so each part can compensate for the other.
I’m not sure if this university is the only one that uses UCAS but all the others that I applied to didn’t so I do think its one of the few who do.
The UCAS score that your child has is great and along with a good (average) UCAT score should land your child an interview😁

@@AKAK-hr7ug Its in the BLSA building in the basement😊 there is a mosque just a few minutes from the whitechapel campus though so that’s an option as well

Thank you! I’ve just put my notion Biology notes in my “Tips for starting A levels” video description box I hope they help! For chemistry I didn’t do notes I mainly used the websites that I mentioned in my “How I get A* in A level chemistry”, Good luck in your A levels I hope this is helpful!😊💪🏼
