I always lived by one rule, never buy the first or second year of a vehicle after a new design. In the competitive world, they do not get proper testing--so guess who is the guinea pig--you. Even then, some manufacturers, continue to keep engines especially, when they know they are unreliable--especially diesels. Gone are the simple days, of having a vehicle, strand you, opening the hood, and determining a issue--now you just call a tow truck.
I don't know about the rest of them, and 😮I can't help but notice that Ford just doesn't learn their lesson from their past mistakes. They need to fire some Engineers!!!
They need to do longer testing and stop bringing out new vehicles every year and people need to stop buying new vehicles every year because your gonna be the testing these vehicles reliability out of your own pocket. Remember you’re not a company with money to burn. 3 years of testing machines are good depending on what you’re building. Adding all these different components need testing to guarantee durability. If it’s reliable everyone will want to buy one and the world is a very big place. You will make your money back
Deep insights to the horror storries brought to you by the truck manufactures who refuse to build simple, and dependable trucks; as was the case long ago.
I’ve been in the all makes leasing business for over 50 years and I’ve had hands on experience with almost all these models. This post appears to have gathered other posts and articles and there are a lot of allegations I can’t agree with.
Fortunately in Australia we don't get a lot of these utes in Australia well l am not in the market for a ute because l have the best my 2X4 1997 5th generation Australian version Toyota Hilux single cab chassis with its 22R engine
Not a “guy” at all; this narration is all AI slop. Most of the production of this video is probably just crappy cut and paste with terrible AI narration that someone is trying to pass off as their own work. Super lazy.
Whenever a truck 🛻 owner drives by me knowing how much they paid for that stupid thing I laugh 😂 knowing that they are constantly paying they are broke I laugh 😂 it’s so stupid.
my last 2 chev s-10 broke down at 60,000 miles. both cost me a lot of money. so in 2010 i bought a tacoma. no problems since.

I had friends that owned fords, and I totally agree with you. Not for me.

It’s the regular people whom decide to be test or not.

Any Toyota Tundra 2000 to 2021 will go way more than 40k.
With standard maintenance
That's when upper management isn't paying attention and the plant puts out junk
I have a 2023 Red Ford Maverick Tremor XLT Luxury package and it is fantastic.
Mine has been in the shop more than I have had it !😂
The 1974 to 80 Datsun trucks had bad engines, clutches and seats that fell apart by 25000 miles
The Hyundai Santa Cruz has a very long warranty.
100000 miles. had two years zero issues...
Hyundai really improved last 5 years ❤
First generation Tundra faced three recalls, not six.
And the twelve year frame recall wasn't even mentioned.
I've got an '02 that will outlast me.
Many of these weren’t sold in USA
I have 2001 tundra and I am still driving it without any major repair
During my time as a Mechanical Breakdown Inspector between 1990 and 2005, I have NEVER seen a SINGLE Toyota truck. The rest? Don't get me started.
BS The 2004 Nissan Titan is underrated. I have over 200k miles on it, and it still drives greatly. Titans are underatted.
So all trucks from 2003 to 2010
😂😂😂

Just ripping people off damn shame😮😮😮😮😮😮
Hmmm???? I found a lot of errors in your video so I'm just going to call BS on all of it. 1 in 10,000 units sold does not make it a bad purchase.
Hyundai and Kia don't know how to build a reliable vehicle
My young son got a genesis coupe 2010 for 4 years now, drag it a lot a the track , and no engine or trany problem at all..
carcomplaints is a hell of a lot more reliable than this video
Can't spell transmission either.

Very informative videos. Too bad you can't spell the word issues.
The automakers are installing planned obsolescence
This is the truth. They want you buying a new vehicle every 5 years.
The Hilux isn't sold in America
Too funny. Dodge Ram one thousand five hundred. You're definitely not a truck guy. You showed the wrong truck for the 2008 Colorado
The wrong truck is also shown for the 2006-2014 Ridgeline which was the first-generation. The video shows the second-generation Ridgeline.

I call bull shit 190xxx + miles 0n my dodge ram no major problems
The toyota pick ups the Arabs use to transport gas are all over one million miles.
This guy is so wrong
Ranger and F150 are the bestess.
nonsense
Value engineering sucks
The narrator doesn't know how to pronounce Nissan and miss pronouncing the truck size
Probably an Ai generated channel.
I had a 2017 and 2019 Colorado. Worst trucks ever. I went back to Ford.
Trucks 🛻 are all expensive junk
