I agree, the post-MSQ visits to Ultima Thule should be the instrumental version of the song, with the full version perhaps only playing if you fly over Absolute Horizon and the Nekropolis.

After the msq that song makes sense. Its a song of hope and after everything the song is to show that ultima thule while ruined there is still hope.

@@karurosu4121 except the whole point was that the music gradually added more parts of representing hope because the souls of our friends were sacrificed to let us keep staying alive in Ultima Thule, but once they come back from that there's not even a story reason for the music to stay this way. I wanted this area to feel like the end of the world and instead it's just youth group church choir

if you want the old distorted version, pop any NG+. it doesn't have to be endwalker NG+, it will revert your BGM to the original distorted version

Tbh after all that happened, and with the possibility to easily take the ragnarok back to Ultima Thule, i'd probably go there too if i needed to relax. Just chillin' at the edge of the universe... Looking into nothing. Probably with Meteion keeping me company sometimes

It's less that the Ragnarok can go back to Ultima Thule and more that it exists on both there and the launching zone. Not even the Lopporits know how it ended up like this.

@@IzzuddinRafli my guess is when Emet and hythlo did the thing to make Ultima Thule "real" (your friends no longer need fight their fight implies they did something to make those pathways and UT itself permanent) the Ragnarok also got caught up in that.

you can get the old music back by using a plugin called orchestrion if youre on pc. if not, lets hope they add some option to give us the old tracks lol

Haven't tried it myself, but I heard that if you activate New Game+ for MSQ before EW (since NG+ is not ready for EW MSQ) it swaps back to the starting version of the theme
