agreed, mare lamentorum, (which btw is latin for sea of lament) was my favorite zone to just sit in chill in , like the azim steppe in stormblood and amarout in shadowbringers

This track still makes me sooooo sad to listen to... But dang it is one incredible journey from 1.0 to now.

This is a beautiful theme for outer space. I envision a child sleeping, being cradled by his mother. You feel how small you are, in the enormous expanse of the universe. And when the vocals come in, you almost feel like you're witnessing something on an eternal, godly scale. They knocked it out the park with this one.

I have over a thousand hours in Elite Dangerous. I've travelled everywhere, I've seen all kinds of planets, I've landed and explored many of them. Scanned, charted and rode my space buggy on so many moons and planets. The feeling of stepping on the moon in Endwalker dwarfed all my ED adventures. It felt so powerful and meaningful.

makes me sad. in some ways. makes me think of the friends ive lost due to my own mistakes and what not and that i may never see or speak to them again even when i pass. but they are still there. while i go on cursed with remembering them fondly

I hate going to Ultima Thule. This song makes me so sad whenever I come here. Too much too soon... I just think back to when I first picked up this game and creating my character. The nostalgia kills me each time.

I liked this theme and the radio theme.

So I got my husband to listen to this and he said it sounded like porn music. I’m not sure how to feel now that he said that. Lol

I left my fc a month ago and we have spent a lot of time in mare lamentorum. Now whenever I go mining or to do something there, tears just run down from my eyes. I feel lonely now. So lonely.

This is so similar to the “Fortress of Lies” track from Nier Automata

I remember the moment I came here for the first time. Seeing my WoL all on his own, in this huge, empty world with the center... as grand as it was... equally as beautiful as it was heartbreaking. Mare Lamentorum means "Sea of Laments," or "Sea of Sorrows."

Also, if your new game plus state is before this (say in heavenward) you should get the old music back.
