Hi! The total for the keyboard itself plus all the modding is around 60 US dollars. - Keyboard: RM97.80 (approximately $20.47) - Switches x 61: RM38.43 (approximately $8.04) - Poron: RM15.90 (approximately $3.33) - PE foam: Free. For the 3mm ones, you can stack three 1mm PE foam pieces together. - Tempest mod: Free - Holee and band-aid mod: I used Hansaplast Sensitive Plasters, you can use any other plaster if you want but I recommend those with fabric material, not the waterproof ones. - Spray paint: RM6.90 (approximately $1.44) - Keycaps: RM79.00 (approximately $16.54) - Krytox 205g0 10g: RM41.90 (approximately $8.77) Please note that shipping fees are not included in these costs. Please let me know if you need links to the parts. Is this something you should consider doing? - To me, yes, because I really want my keyboard to feel and sound good when I am typing. Not only will it improve the aesthetics of my keyboard, but it will also boost productivity. I'm not saying that the stock ones sound bad, but the board itself has a lot of potential to sound great by just doing some simple mods. If you do not care about the aesthetics and typing feel of your keyboard, I would say the stock keyboard is decent enough for daily use :)

Is that cherry profile? Does it have interference?
I am using XDA profile keycaps, but if you go with Cherry profile keycaps, you might run into some interference because of the north-facing PCB.
@@guandeng1231 Yeah I’m aware of that, kinda sucks but it’s budget lol
Btw XDA profile keycaps won't give you any interference issues with both north and south PCBs.
@@ambasing69 Yeah, I think right now the most budget friendly way to get a south facing PCB is to grab the GMK67 barebone kit.
