Very well documented video, although I do have some things to point out starting with this hobby. Perhaps the stabilizers could've been modded and tuned in order for them to have a smooth and nice feeling. There are many mods and things to help shape a better sound profile for your stabilizers such as lubing and more. Also, your switches are good sounding however I think they are slightly overpriced as you can probably get cheaper switches that feel or sound the same or perhaps even better than the Higround Titan Hearts. Switches such as the Gateron Yellows and Ink Blacks are much cheaper and are better than your switches. Again, these are suggestions only, if what you currently have makes you happy, go for it!
Thank you! I wanted to mod the stabilizers as well, but it seemed quite complicated, and I didn't want to mess it up :/. With the price of the switches, I don't know much about switches, but I like higrounds products and liked the sound of the switches. I know they were a bit pricey, but I don't mind!
@@PeytonToenjes Modding the stabilizers shouldn't be a big hassle especially for a beginner. Even for me, I have modded the stabs of my RK61 and I am still yet to experience the full rabbit hole of the keyboard hobby. I suggest watching a few tutorials and perhaps just trying. :)
cool, only complain i have is using higher end switches on a rk61 why get higher end switches that cost as much as the whole board when you could have just gotten a better board like gmk67 or gas68 for around 60 - 80 bucks that have more impact on the overall sound profile overall, budget switches are more than enough if your lube them correctly and could even sound better than more expansive ones. for example, akko cs switches they sound great, and the packaging could function as a lubing station.

I have a question, my mother is afraid of breaking the keyboard by removing the old switches, putting the tape, foam etc. and in the end she advises me to only put the keycaps? Can you answer me please?
I understand being scared to break a keyboard by modding it, but if your keyboards PCB is hot swappable I don't see what's stopping you. Just don't be super rough when pulling the switches out, and you'll be fine!
