    that is very pretty and super functional. I started cooking with induction and convection about 10 years ago, in a tiny apartment. Our 5R had a beautiful rv stove/oven and microwave in it. But this is our forever home and I am an old woman. Have adapted all my life, figure its time for things to adapt to me. My hubby bought me a cooktop that has one induction and 2 propane burners in it. I really love it. Them he got me a microwave/convection oven and it fits where the rv micro was (looks a lot like yours). This set up is how I cook and freed up space where old oven was and he built me in a dishwasher. Like I said, old woman...I like my gadgets...that is really beautiful and if my kids were still home I might want a different layout...I am enjoying your videos

      Thank you! We like hearing that! And this new oven is definitely worth it! Just being able to use a full size pan to cook for our family of 5 makes a big difference!

    Just discovered your channel today! Last year we did the solar conversion, this year we plan on the 12 volt fridge. I watched your install/tour video, excellent! I wish we had the double size fridge in our Jayco but we don’t . I like your videos, like this one as I like the idea of the newer more residential size stove/oven. I’ll be watching more of your videos over the next few days. Great job!

    Our range is being delivered today. You had an easy swap-out compared to what I will be going through. I am replacing a Magic Chef where the propane line enters back right corner. I have to move the line to back left corner. Wish me luck.

    Great video, looks very simple to do. And no it’s not a frivolous purchase. My current oven Has to be lit with one of those “hard words“ lighter and I want to like not cooking dinner after doing that. Two of our top three burners are high only. Which is a problem when you cook a full meal at least four days a week. Curious, how hard is it to light the oven? I noticed the. Furion said it takes 5 to 10 minutes to light. I would lose my mind. Thanks for the video and thanks for your help with the question above.

    Wow! Great video! Thanks for the tips! We too changed our fridge to a 12v and we ran a new line so you gave me the great idea to repurpose our 12v line from the old fridge!! The piece that would have been good was to stress the reconnection of the propane - either teff tape or the liquid teff. And then to re-check for leak either using manometer, propane sniffer or simple bubble solution- but I get the point. Plus, what fridge 12v is that??!! We installed the Dometic 12v but that looked like a French door style 12v with bottom fridge!! Definitely need a video on that if it is!! Thanks for the video! Got my sub! Cheers!

      Thanks a bunch! We actually have a video on it on the channel! It’s the everchill 12v French door fridge. We absolutely love it! Thanks for watching!

    Oh thats so nice! 😊 👍 Are you guys still happy with it? Oh and will the oven light by the knob as well? Or do you still need a candle lighter to light your pilot light? We have a Magic Chef, so ours can go on pilot hold, but you can’t leave it on indefinitely. After you shut it off, you have to relight your pilot light each time by hand. I’d love to have a nicer stove that’s more user friendly. That bigger size oven and an oven that would light more like a house stove would be reasons enough for me! Thanks for sharing! Looked pretty easy to install too! Blessings -

    Thank you for your video, what size is the oven went to look them up but I'm not sure what size. I like the fact that you can use a large pan.

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a 21 inch oven. There is also a 17 inch, but I don’t see that one being able to fit a pan.

  • @jeanjohnson6017

    One more question, is the oven liable if you are not connected to 120? When boondocking.

    Great video! We are looking at this oven for a small loft build we are doing. The oven will installed into a bar sitting area so I was wondering if it would look silly / noticeable if we removed the glass cover?

    • @TodayWeGo

      Unfortunately it probably would be noticeable, but definitely not terrible.

    Nice! I am getting ready to do this but the two stoves I found are different in cutout size. Did you have that issue. I am not sure what to do as it is smaller for the new one than the original by two inches on width.

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are typically two different size stoves in RV’s. 17 and 21 inches are the two standard sizes. Mine actually fit right in place with no modifications necessary. Do you know what your old stove size is vs. the new one?

    Hey, thabjs for the video. How does the oven work? I have had issues with RV ovens not getting very hot or uneven temperatures. I would really appreciate thoughts, thank you!

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It works really well. We put a pizza stone in the bottom and that makes the oven heat very evenly.

  • @vince8436

    I see that you had a Wedgewood RV1733. If that is true it looks like this fit in no modifications. I need to do that due to my Wedgewood needs a new gas valve. Is that correct? Thanks.

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s the same model but ours was the 21 inch model. As long as yours is a 21 inch, you should be good. If it’s the 17 inch, you’ll probably need the smaller oven.

    • @vince8436
      @vince8436 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TodayWeGo Thanks, I am not worried on height, I do know I need the smaller Graystone. I just wondered mostly about the width and depth. Sad part is this RV I just bought had an unused oven the prior owner did not cook in it even the top. Sad to find a bad gas valve and no replacement part.
      Thanks for the reply and the video, Now I know my replacement. Do you know if Rec Pro charges a shipping fee?

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it depends on how big of an item you purchase. I know with our couch and fridge it did cost a little extra because it had to come in on a special delivery truck.

    How do you light the oven?

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you push in the oven temperature knob it will release some propane. Then twist the light knob a few times and it should light.
