My theory was always that Chad got bullied both in Japan for looking diferent And in Mexico cause he probably spoke broken spanish being born in Japan His parents died, he had anger problems getting into trouble every chance His abuelo changed that perspective and he went the other way, almost full pacifist But then Ichigo brought him balance with that promess At firtst to throw punches for eachother, but then we see Chad also protecting his friends, Yuichi the Bird Kid and helping Rukia, now trying to save her

After Ichigo said those words, Chad proceeded to lose literally EVERY fight throughout the whole show except that one fight against the afro Arrancar 😂😂 like no seriously, take a second and actually think about it!! AND THE WORST PART is that the one win that he got, was only to show off his new ability...just to end up getting completely violated by Nnoitra 10 seconds later 😭🤌🏾 which means that even fucking Sakura is more useful than Chad
I was terrified for Chad when I saw this episode. At the time, the way they stretched things out didn't bother me so much. Watching it again now, it's definitely a problem. Fortunately, just like most Shōnen, this aspect does get better as the series progresses.
Most shonens with the exception of One Piece. Bleach and Naruto has a lot of filler arcs, so the cannon stuff get better pace. But One Piece has few fillers in comparison to the cannon, so the cannon stuff suffers in the second half.
If Chad knew who he was fighting...he would have taken that drink ! My 2 favorite captains in the last 2 episodes ! Zaraki Kenpachi of squad 11 and Kyoraku Shunsui of squad 8...They have both insane powers in very different ways !! Zaraki is a pure berserker fighting machine working on instinct alone and Shunsui is the calm strategic logical warrior...Chad as no idea how lucky he was to fight Kyoraku, probably one of 2 or 3 captains who would not have killed him !
[Tidbits & Clarifications] - Judging by his statements a few episodes ago, This Captain is older than most, which in turn likely means he is one of the more powerful. Most Captains and Lieutenants we've seen so far have at least drawn there sword 1st, but Shunsui is handling this with just his hand for the most part. - (The long ass running scene makes me laugh every time I see it, early anime padding is funny af)
To feel like a big brain pay attention to the names. They are super important in bleach. there is so much late game stuff you can learn from the names without learning spoilers.

Hunter x hunter and bleach of the shows are the fastest with hxh being modern paced even in manga form. I personally think first time bleach watchers should watch ever arc for all the characters development and getting more information about the power system and other crazy amazing stories and people
My biggest hang-up when it comes to given and family names in anime, is that some subs will change the order in the text. Hearing one thing and seeing another scrambles my brain until I take a second to sort it out.
Sado was lucky getting to fight weaklings up until good ol' Kyoraku Shunsui, well, that's it for Sado this Arc If he kept remembering and powering up for 200 episodes, he still wouldn't have been able to touch Shunsui lol
Shunsui 's entrance was funny. The powerups did take too long buts it anime. Chad does need more tactics for fighting. I love Chad's backstory and why he acts the way he does. Japanese bullies seems most dangerous in anime.

And I saw some stuff later on, he has a different actor and he sounds fine to me. I’m not huge on dubs and even I can tell the early stuff in the series needed work in places.
This is nothing compared to dbz lol in terms of stretching it out. Also Chad is lucky like the comments say. He met one of the few captains who would spare him. Also bleach had epic music.
Just so you guys know what you're complaining about is the ONLY time that Bleach as a series ever did something like this. None of the other seasons or episodes have anything like that. And yes watching Goku Power Up to SSJ3 for like 6 episodes was horrible as a kid and whar made it worse was when they restarted ALL THE F'ING WAY BACK TO THE FIRST EPISODE OF Z! THE AMOUNT OF RAGE I HAD AS A KID FROM THEM DOING THAT CRAP But 1 things for sure in my opinion Bleach has the best filler out of Naruto and One Piece. It's so good that it actually makes you wish they added it to canon material (which certain aspects are canon as of now). Don't get me wrong there is at least 1 or 2 filler arcs you may not like but the overwhelming majority is Top Tier

@@mouseinthehouse_ He just doesn’t sound that great early on. I’m not gonna dig on the actor, because 9 times out of 10 it’s down to the direction. And I saw some stuff later on, he has a different actor and he sounds fine to me. I’m not huge on dubs and even I can tell the early stuff in the series needed work in places.
This is nothing compared to dbz lol in terms of stretching it out. Also Chad is lucky like the comments say. He met one of the few captains who would spare him. Also bleach had epic music.

Just so you guys know what you're complaining about is the ONLY time that Bleach as a series ever did something like this. None of the other seasons or episodes have anything like that.
And yes watching Goku Power Up to SSJ3 for like 6 episodes was horrible as a kid and whar made it worse was when they restarted ALL THE F'ING WAY BACK TO THE FIRST EPISODE OF Z! THE AMOUNT OF RAGE I HAD AS A KID FROM THEM DOING THAT CRAP
But 1 things for sure in my opinion Bleach has the best filler out of Naruto and One Piece. It's so good that it actually makes you wish they added it to canon material (which certain aspects are canon as of now). Don't get me wrong there is at least 1 or 2 filler arcs you may not like but the overwhelming majority is Top Tier

You guys probably wont watch filler but not all of them are bad. Watch the reigai arc and zanpoctou rebellien arc on your own times when you get to it.
