I am a simple person and want one, but don't want to spend over a day's worth of work on a single knife :( Especially if I can't carry it, legally, once in awhile.

I like the Dessert Warrior motif, as it's fairly original and appeals to someone who's tired of piles of black and od green knives. I like the option to exist at the very least. I worry for the (very few) who are offended at it's existence. It's obviously made for knife collectors and not for being deployed in the field where colors matter.
I'm not in the market for any OTFs myself. I do live in a state where they're technically legal to carry, but the majority of citizens and police don't know that, so it'd be a $300-500 fidget toy or "case queen".
That being said, I do have the Kalashnikov's and the Elementum models 😁

Asian guy: oh, this isn't legal in California.
Me, a knife guy: yes and no. Yes if the balde is under 4" in orange county and less than 3" in LA County, but no it's not legal by state law. You can legally break the legal limit depending on where you're at in Cali.
Edit: I'm no lawyer, but I do know for a fact that folding, swiss army, OTF, and switchblade knives that have a spring or button assist opening is legal if the blad is 2.99" or less in LA County. Don't ask a cop for the county knife laws or even state laws in California. It's something you don't do. Ever. If you did it before, don't ask them again. I could be wrong about orange county's knife laws for the county only and not the state in this case.

I'm half way agreeing with the negative guy. I love the livery, but spear point double edge is too much. I carry a Ultratech with a drop point and partial serrated single edge.

I bought one, for $430, and the sprinkles wear off with a fingernail. Shame on microtech for such crappy finish on an exclusive knife. This was my first microtech, and my last.

@@dargonn My friend ordered it for me, I have no recourse. I like the knife a lot and I want to buy a UTX-70 model but I won't. No more Benchmade or microtech for me.

@@dargonn TI version? Yeah that's a bit above my price range, this micro was my most expensive knife yet. I'm looking at a No Limit Knives Akuma Auto for 160 which just tickles my knife sweet spot.
