I've always felt a kinship to St Francis since I can remember in Sunday school, now I feel a real connection. God is wonderful and timeless. We might think that God took long to show us the light, but we are mistaken. It was right when it's supposed to happen. Have faith and pay attention along the journey, learn with your mind, heart, mind, and soul, let the Holy Spirit work through you. Peace be with all of you.

Great video! One tiny critique, as an Italian speaker. Perugia is pronounced pehr-oo-jah (but the r is kind of like a d. So really, it'd sound closer to pehd-oo-jah). Also, his name would have been pronouced Francesco (Frahn-chess-koh), not Francisco (that's a Spanish way of spelling and saying his name).

As we prepare for the 2 major feasts of St. Francis (Sept. 17/ Oct. 4th) Let us remember how God asked Francis to "Rebuild My Church"- He is the perfect saint to intercede for our church in these dark days. He and St. Dominic were the chosen souls to hold up the church in the dark days of the past. Let us ask them to hold up the Catholic Church and the faithful once again.
