Thank you, everyone, for helping me reach 1,000 subscribers! It's an important milestone for a fairly new channel, and encourages me to do my best to provide you with informative but enjoyable videos! I'm always open to hearing about what you would like to see and/or what saints you'd like me to feature.
It had been a long time, since I last heard your stories of Saints. And what good timing, as I often include St Claire in my prayers, without knowing why (only her link to St Francis). Past few days, I’d been telling myself to learn her story, but always forget, and here you are! ….. The "seraphic mother"? How interesting that this passage from my favourite Christmas carol keeps impressing itself on me: « At His feet the six winged seraph, Cherubim with sleepless eye, Veil their faces to the presence, As with ceaseless voice they cry: Alleluia, Alleluia Alleluia, Lord Most High! »
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! I'm glad you enjoyed the video on St. Clare. You can subscribe and hit the notification bell (if you haven't already) to be informed of when I post a new video. I do my best to post twice a month.
Ive read all the comments. Re Sister Clare of Derry - nnow referred to as Blessed Clare , the cause for her canonisation commenced late February 2025. Her video "All or nothing" is so informative. St Clare is still active in the world see Bree Solstadt's account of a visit to her shrine. St Clare appeared to her in a vision, encouragi her in her quest for conversion. I shed tears of joy listening to her words. In fact, Bree led me to revisiting your lovely video about St Clare.
Yes, isn't it wonderful that we have so many Saint friends/helpers? Just as we have supportive friends on earth, saints are our friends in heaven! Thank you for watching. :-)
St. Clare intercede me to our Lord, to bless our faith, forgiveness, have mercy, free from financial and material trouble ,wisdom, bless our jobs protect us mold us of the Lords words leading to praise God and his willfulness Amen....
St Clare story is interesting and is a very long time ago, that her life story exists on this earth. ❤. Amen. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord Yeshua the king of all kings and Lord of all Lord's. Amen.
Thanks for watching. The Francis refers to St. Francis of Assisi, who was a male. Clare was called "The OTHER Francis," so they used the male form there as well.
Modern day saint.... Sister Claire of Derry... Died 2016. Aged 33...earthquake, Ecuador.. .called by Jesus to abandon the road to fame... She found fame in a righteous way.... God bless! Christ is king! Ave Maria!
You are correct that St. Clare's feast day was ORIGINALLY Aug. 12, but it was moved to Aug. 11 because there were some other saints celebrated on the 12th. The current officially recognized feast day in the Church is August 11. But really, does it matter what day we celebrate her, as long as we do celebrate her? Thanks for watching and commenting.
I'm sorry you don't like it. The song is an instrumental version of "Morning Has Broken," a beautiful hymn in praise of God's creation. I thought it was fitting for a video about a follower of St. Francis of Assisi. If you look up the lyrics online, you'll see what I mean. I try to choose music carefully, but I guess it's impossible to please everyone! :-) Thanks for watching and commenting.
Sorry to disagree, but it was not a "false Mass." It was just a way during COVID-19 quarantine for people to stay connected to church during lockdown, and afterwards for those who were high-risk. It still is for shut-ins who cannot attend a physical church, as was the case for St. Clare at the time of her vision. Naturally not the same as attending physically when one is able, but not everyone is, and to call it a "false Mass" is inaccurate and a disservice to those who just want to feel connected to their parish and their faith and can't do it any other way.
Call it artistic license - LOL! Cut me a break, it's hard work putting these videos together, and not everything can be perfect. Just pretend it's the beauty of her soul shining through! 😁Thanks for watching.
@richardmiranda640 It's sad that all you could take away from this well-done video, which apparently took a lot of hard work, was one image that you didn't like. I guess the saint's life and accomplishments don't matter! I see you have no videos of your own. Maybe if you tried it, you'd see just how much work it is.

Music is annoying

No, what you were watching was a false mass, but Saint Claire always went and had the true mass

Why is she portrayed as a beautiful 25-year-old whilst on her deathbed
Call it artistic license - LOL! Cut me a break, it's hard work putting these videos together, and not everything can be perfect. Just pretend it's the beauty of her soul shining through! 😁Thanks for watching.
