One of the most noticeable changes is a head director decreed a "one joke per joke" policy, meaning jokes couldn't run into each other and pay off 3 or 4 in one joke. Steamed Hams is so funny because while it is overall 1 joke, skinner being unable to make something simple like a lunch with chalmers go off properly, it contains at least 5 distinct parts, each of which is funny but builds in a tapestry of the world around it. It also lets elements like skinners' inability to admit fault, and his relationship with his mother, all without losing that central joke.
You know it's possible to watch old media, right? I recently started streaming _ALF_ on TH-cam - it's been uploaded by Shout Factory, the company that owns distribution rights to the show.
I love how 80% of these require you to already know the niche original scene they're parodying, and even if you do only like 50% of them are chuckle worthy. I promise, if you don't understand these, you're not missing out on quite as much as you think 😂

Ok, theres a difference between Patrick Warburton voicing many completely original characters over Chris Pratt voicing one already well established character.
Charles martinet was actually offered to voice Mario in the upcoming Mario movie, but declined. He always did the Mario voice for relatively short spans of time with the cartoon, and said that his voice would almost definitely give out if he tried to do the voice for an entire movie.

The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. There was no need for profanity,
Also Matt is burdeoned with the power of prophecy
As someone who grew up watching The Simpsons and has seen at least over 90% of the 600+ episodes, it's really funny to watch Robin struggle to understand literally anthing that's happening.
I feel like Robin isn’t familiar with the Simpsons enough to get these memes.
Neither am I lol.
I have a sneaking suspicion of that, as well.
The fact that many people don’t understand these memes fills me with great sadness… these are quite clever with the context.
Thanks Robin, as someone who doesn't understand what's going on 90% of the time I don't feel alone anymore 💀

Robin would understand 25% of these if he just watched the episode where Maude dies.
One of the most noticeable changes is a head director decreed a "one joke per joke" policy, meaning jokes couldn't run into each other and pay off 3 or 4 in one joke. You really should have gotten someone who's familiar with The Simpsons to do this. He's missing all the references.
Nah, him missing the references is half the fun.
As a simpsons fan this video was appreciated.
Please do more in future.
I think Robin is ten years too young for this one... It's hilarious watching him scratching his head wondering what the hell is going on.
You know it's possible to watch old media, right? I recently started streaming _ALF_ on TH-cam - it's been uploaded by Shout Factory, the company that owns distribution rights to the show.
Robin not understanding the Simpsons' most iconic moments is the funniest and saddest thing I have ever seen
4:34 It's from the episode where the Simpsons get a babysitter, and Homer mistakenly gropes her by peeling a bit of his candy of her jeans.
4:42 it's a tmnt version of a scene in the Simpsons, where homer picks candy of the ass of a babysitter.
And they say butts weren’t in back then.
I love how 80% of these require you to already know the niche original scene they're parodying, and even if you do only like 50% of them are chuckle worthy. I promise, if you don't understand these, you're not missing out on quite as much as you think 😂
4:35 That's a reference to a very particular Simpsons episode involving an extremely expensive gummy candy and accidental sexual harassment.
3:42 Marge had a moment in the show, where she held a potato and said "I just think they're neat" now there was another potato, and it also was pretty neat, but it sadly is burnt down now
Ok, theres a difference between Patrick Warburton voicing many completely original characters over Chris Pratt voicing one already well established character.
At least Patrick puts a bit more oomph and emotion into his lines
Exactly. One of the main draws of Patrick Warburton acting and voice acting is the deep timbre of his normal voice.
