- My full event review of MCC Twitch Rivals EU 2024
This event was absolutely phenomenal to participate in and my teammates were very kind, supportive, but most importantly performed really well!
I'm thankful that I was able to play and the crowd & online support towards me and my team was unbelievable. Thank you all so much for such an amazing experience! #mcc - เกม

I'm proud of how much Jeremy has improved during his training arc. I was there since the first MCC Island stream that he did and he became slightly better every day. I finally could give all my tips because I have played on the server for 1,5 years now. I think that it is also a plus that there were almost no pvp games because that would definitely be one of his weaker sides. BE DUTCH!

As the audience, I loved RRR as the final game. The end sequence with the carts was so hype. During the game it was really hard to tell who was ahead, so it was tense the whole time
from being a tester to joining mcc then winning it, its so cool so proud of u bro :D

23:25 I watched yellow's POV of the event today and wanted to note that yellow, the only team placing above you in RRR, also had the strategy where one person went ahead to take care of terrain while their other teammates worried about the track. Definitely seems like that's going to be a popular strategy going forward
I guess the only way we’re gonna find out if Wolfeei is S-Tier or not is if he plays in more MCC’s…

You did so well Wolfeei, and your practice definitely paid off. It was amazing to see your team come together to make it dodgebolt. Also despite it being everyone on cyan first time playing, your team did so well in RRR and were able to just make it to top two. SO happy for you. Also, I literally had Jojo mcc 34 flashbacks watching purple team target you every round in dodgebolt.

Scot mentions a lot how people who over perform will “NEVER” play again. This has yet to happen and it confuses me how people think he is serious sometimes. You did great tho, and it was very fun watching it live 😊

@Puppyfied yes an hour long game would fit right into mcc where the second longest game is 15 minutes
No UHC but fast maybe everyone starts off with efficiency 5 tools and a blend off mega walls so there are huge zones for resource gathering and furnaces instantly smelt so the resource gathering is only 5 minutes, it would allow speedrunners to show more of their skill
@hyper4pple I mean, maybe, but I think it's just too easy to get cleaned, especially since the map would be smaller than sg, which teams are already weary to fight in

For sg, Coldi set a record since records where a thing, the record rn j think is held by sapnap in mcc 15
Ultrasheeplord has kept a spreadsheet since season 1 and it has all the stats and records. Fruitberries has the most kills and most individual points for SG in MCC9. I don't know where people are getting their info from.
It makes no sense that that would be the record since he only got 7, not 8 kills. If mcc 9 fruit was rescored it would be more points than Coldi's record because he got a full team survival and 1 more kill. Coldi definitely did really well though and had some crazy mechanics.

Sg may be flawed in ways however it is by far the most hype game in mcc and that is undebateabley true, it should be in some events, maybe not canon i guess but definitely non canon it should be in sometimes, almost as often as build mart
I disagree.
SG is only "the most hype game" if you consistently watch the teams that do well. For any viewers of the worse performing teams (and the players themselves), SG can be a complete mood-kill, as it is designed to be high risk high reward. In this event, the resulting teams weren't exciting either, as the 2 expected best teams ended up placing top 2 by large margin. (no shade towards the Green and Purple players at all, them doing well is great, just expected)

This is the comment of someone who watches a lot of SG winner POVs and PvP oriented S Tiers. Nothing wrong with that, like what you like ofc, but it’s hard to argue that something is undebatably the most hype game when the things that make it hype only happen to viewers of a such a small number of POVs compared to other PvP games.
I feel like SkyBattle is not only a a better designed game, but a its more hype than SG aswell

I dunno. I kind of came away feeling better about the Vegas TR than this one, but that was mainly because of the IRL Build Mart debacle. It didn't help that BM is one of my favorite games that most of the sweaty players hate, and this only gave them a more bitter taste in their mouths for BM, at least subconsiously.
that's a fair reason! I think from a player perspective the EU rivals was just more interesting, mainly due to the addition of Build Mart IRL. Some of us did see the backlash on the Reddit afterwards, but I just don't agree with how seriously people took the game. The event is still supposed to be fun, and Build Mart IRL suited that vibe very well, even if there were small things that made it less competitively viable! It was a very unique addition that a lot of the players were looking forward to playing and even wanted to play again afterwards :D

i wouldnt say your team is strong compared to green and purple personally i would say your team was weak compared to like yellow cus you hadnt played mcc in quite a while and sniff had bad placements in the past and then a newcomer
