Does this machine truly do dye-sublimation or just heat transfer images? As I understand, dye-sublimation is when heat and pressure is applied to artwork on a white or light colored poly textile - with the heat and pressure allowing the ink to dissipate and embed into the fabric so it remains breathable and not printed on top of the textile (standard heat transfer).

Sublimation is an entirely different process than our typical heat transfer vinyl. It actually changes the ink to a gaseous state and the ink becomes embedded into the fabric.

and no 100% cotton for sg800?
We recommend 100% polyester for sublimation purposes. Pretreating the shirt is not required!

So I've heard sublimation is mainly for polyester. The lower the polyester %, the more blurry it'll look.
