Thank goodness this beautiful boy was released into a safe location without any harm. Congratulations to those who undertook the task. A safer method should be used to release the ropes around its legs without causing any injury to his majesty, Sri Lanka's national heritage. I just love these gentle giants. May they survive in their natural habitat for eternity.
Great job relocating and releasing the elephant! Thank you! I would request a safer method to remove the ropes from around the elephant's legs. The way it was being done, the dagger could have landed on the elephant's leg instead of the rope, and injured her.

This is a beautiful national park specially for birds there are plenty of migratory birds here from all over.
