I was in the same situation, doctors told me I had bladder and prostate cancer, I was very scared, did have them both removed and now living with a urostomy, The doctors treated me very well, and were educated about it,so I really had no other options but to go with their decision
    Now cancer free.
Thank you Lord Jesus.🙏Sir your blessed.

this video seems to fail to mention that the cystectomy requires to remove not only the bladder but also the prostate seminal vessels. they do mention an option of nerve sparring surgery but it is very hard to spare nerves when the surgeon is in the pelvis for close to 5 hours.

I had this surgery in 2018. I have a urostomy. I hate it. I’ll never accept it but I live with it. There are other alternatives outside the US that American Drs never mentioned. Plus Drs never discussed with me about changing my diet and living cancer free. I found all this on my own.

@@NineLives69 is find something else. You don’t want a Urostomy. How about having your uterus removed. You won’t have periods after that

I have been having chemo treatments, and will have cystectomy in November. Doing as much reading/ video watching about this as I can.

I was diagnosed 4 months ago with non muscle invasive bladder cancer but the cancer was a high grade form. They tried giving me BCG but my body had a allergic reaction to it and that is not a option anymore, So they offered me either a Cystectomy with ileal or Mitomycin washes. I really am stuck as to what to do as i worry about the operation and after care but then think well with it being high grade it is the best option to save my life. I still now have no idea what i am going to do and have a appointment on the 21st to make a decision.

@@michellec2108 I had a cystectomy 4 weeks ago with a ileal conduit stoma. I had no other option really as bcg washes and mitomycin was not working for me as they gave me reactions and ended up with infections,

That'a treament for bladder cancer where the doctors insert tubercuosis into the bladder so the body can fight the cancer whe it fight the tuberculosis off. So they get you sick, to make you "unsick"...my mom went through that and it didn't work...
