I'd say so. I gave up on that a long time ago. I didn't think people would think it's an actual buff for the weapon, but more so a feeling you get when using it. The devs haven't even looked in our direction in years.
Rise used to be my least favorite map by far. I hated it so much that I used to quit the match as soon as I saw that I had Rise. Then I discovered the proper way to play it: Softball, the floor is lava, drop bombs from above. Now Rise is one of my favorites.
Hahaha same but with EPG 😄 At some point I even used the smart pistol and I’m sure enough players got upset because of it, me wall running away with the infinite wall-run grapple I learned from Paper’s channel - but it got me into the groove of the map. Now I’m back to all EPG and batteries 🔋 😁

Dude, grenadier weapons are freakin dope. I called the grenadier category Titanfall 2: hard mode, because it can be a lil hard leading shots for new players. I don't use them *too* much, but my best game with a grenadier was 25 kills and 2 deaths witht the EPG. It was 90% luck but felt good none the less. Hope I didn't stomp any noobs

I love the legion at times. When you can take out multiple titans or use the ranged power shot as either a sniper or to drill through everything. It can be fun.
A friend told me the random weird lag is somebody ddosing the servers, but i don't really know much about ddosing. Maybe they're right. it's happened to me pretty randomly, and even in private matches.

I've started to enjoy grenadier weapons a lot lately, especially the Softball and EPG. I think it's because it reminds me of Team Fortress 2, with its single-shot, high damage projectile weapons. I really enjoyed that game, and it was definitely because of the weapons and the movement, so I kinda steered towards the same thing in Titanfall 2, especially so since it's running on the same engine.

i’m the same way with titans. i just don’t get the legion play style so i had a legion main explain it to me and essentially the idea is that you’re a tank outputting as much damage as possible and fun of it is being able mow down enemies while absorbing the counter.
I believe that executions should be an instant kill, but the regular melee animation should only do 75% health. It feels wrong to me that someone can punch me to death faster than I can shoot them to death. As for legion, I love the potential damage out put. Hidden compartment allows for multiple rapid pilot kills and fantastic damage against titans.
Those huge lag spikes happen to me almost every game, but they're usually not as bad as the one in the video. For me it's almost like clockwork where 15 seconds into the match it will start and then it will end after a minute.
7:22: Northstar player here. The reason people pick Legion in Titanfall is the same reason people pick up Heavy in Team Fortress. The ability to lay hate for multiple seconds and do massive damage.
Legion main here. I run double power shot and it's a great pilot killer. Long range is good for taking out campers as well. I don't usually do too well but it feels soooo good.
I like to use light weight alloys with legion and play faster, trying to flank as often as possible. Or just play in the backfield, it's kind of a nice change of pace every once in awhile
I've been using cold war in pilot v pilot and god damn that shit is fun -Grapple -Cold war -Charge Laser -Grav star -Hover aim I call it the B17, made for flying and dropping bombs from the stratosphere
This plus grav star, is my main set up for TF2, it’s fucking awesome, once you get the whip up, and over down, the grapple combos you can do with it. My favourite is sling shotting and using my body like a Kraber bullet lmao. The grapple is great for getting above any one
I prefer the saltball over the EPG, but thats just me. I think its because i find it hilarious to stick someone and kill them after you die.... like the martyrdom perk from CoD.
I do that all the time with EPG. The round moves so slowly compared to other ammo (or hitscan) that I'll fire first, die to my opponent, then it lands & kills them.

EPG's just so satisfying,i think it's at around 12000 kills on par with l-star,and it's the most satisfyi g thing to pickup some them birdies midair...
Try using the EPG and gravstar, if you get someone stuck and shoot the EPG in that direction it’s almost a guaranteed kill. You’ll also be able to arc shots and get some great clips.
We've been down this road and it's not worth going down. Until I hear definitive news of titanfall 3 I'm not getting into this topic. Nothing but pain at the end of that road.
Going back and watching a lot of your previous videos recently, I keep getting reminded that using your Backup Batt as soon as your Titan drops is a huge waste...
My problem with melee is that it is just used way too much. In an average game i die 18 times. 12 times it is to melee. 6 times to guns. Melee is often used when it is completely unnecessary which makes it annoying. At least half the stim users on pc just use it to sprint up to you and punch you. Momentum based melee would be great though.

I’ve sent about a hundred clips and all of them about 5 at a time so you could have told me sooner. Tbf tho you can’t blame me when every game I play has some sort of moment where I felt like a badass
Unpopular opinion on melee you have. Melee is an effortless skillless press of a button instakill. Removing it makes the game more enjoyable as seen in private matches and competitive.
I don't think melee's are cheap but I also feel like Monarch's are try Harding bitch's mind my French but I really don't like monarch's. And L stars scare me I ran into an L-star player today and he was destroying me and there was also a spitfire camper in my game so I was a bit frustrated and getting destroyed by an L-star... didn't enjoy that.

those lag spikes are the worst. im pretty sure it effects the entire lobby as well

Love the EPG and softball. They’re so unique.
EPG was my second most used weapon for a while. I use it in my Spider-Man themed load out.

Me and everyone in my lobby have had those lag spikes the past two weeks. It happened during an LTS scrim.

Dude my brain got rewired when I switched to pc to only use epg and softball, grenadier guns are great
Back when I used to play TF2 everyday I was an L-star master got over 4500+ kills with at least 40-30 plus kills in a game
Except for the moment(levelling all guns to g4.9), L-STAR and SMR are my two main classes.
You know what would be neat? For you to incorporate EPG boosting into your gameplay. It'd be interesting to see how you use it.
