The good news for those pilots is the man who ordered them to make the strike, turned out to be the mastermind behind the attack on the Whitehouse, and that the real president didn't die, which would have happened if they had bombed the building.. So I'm sure they don't have anything to worry about, I'm sure president Sayer would be more than delighted to award them that they didn't execute the order.. But realistically, disobeying the orders from your superiors as a soldier, especially the president, would definitely get you court martial..
There is such a thing as illegal orders. I’m largely unfamiliar with the specifics, but the concept exists to prevent soldiers from following unethical commands.
