archers are literally useless, I had my peasants eating volley after volley from heavy archers the other day and we didn't lose a single man, they weren't even in the anti missile mode. Just sell all your warbows
You don't need a free plot in your city to rally troops there. You can rally them to a free space outside the city limits and then immediately select their unit cards and order them to move to wherever you want them to go, including inside the city. But you really don't want your troops inside your city. Urban combat is severely hindered, because the units have difficulty pathfinding around buildings. Always sally out and meet your enemies on your region borders. Merc troops too need to be hired and deployed well before the enemy gets to you!
Ive yet to see anyone explain crop rotation properly which is probably why people say farms are broken or avoid farms. Farms are super powerful if done correctly. There are 3 seasonal slots in a crop rotation. Not by chance, there are 3 types of harvest (4 if you count rye even tho its basically the same as wheat). Without going into details, never fallow your land. Instead, rotate the crops! Seems obvious right? Wheat, barley, flax. Yeah i know, fertility is not the same for each crop. However, some yield is better than no yield. When you plot your farms and look at the fertility layers, think of the overlap of the three types as an average crop rotation fertility. So if you have wheat +3, barley +2, and flax +0, a plot on that land is an average +2.5 fertility. Next, harvest "season" starts in Sept. Crops rotate in October. You have until the start of December to get everything done. That said, the only time you cannot interact with the farm is winter. You can get 2 harvest per year with proper use of the force early harvest. The key to pull this off is once again crop rotation. What you need to focus on is having your field plowed as soon as possible from the start of the new season, which is Oct. 1st when crops rotate. So, dont just build one farmhouse, build 2 for the extra ox plow. One full farm house, 8 families, and two Ox can plow and sow over 4 acres before Nov. This means by start of spring, in March, your crops will be well over 50% grown. You will be able to force early 100% harvest right around June replant before end of July and by normal harvest season in Sept, have another 30-40% of full yield to harvest. This makes up for lower fertility, it does drain fertility more, but will fully recover after two years rotation. If you want even more efficiency, make sure to have a grainhouse and a storehouse fully staffed with focus only on your fields during harvest. This allows you to get that plow work in on the first early harvest a bit quicker.
Iron is actually way better than anything else at the moment. Clay and stone are the only finite resources. You can get unlimited iron and make tools, weapons, and armor. Tiles are not sustainable trade without imports of clay
I think market places will get supplies or material from granaries so that “food stalls” can open up, so keeping them near each other may make supply more efficient? I’m new at this game trying to understand.
Its best to have small market places. Once the food stalls are built they will not supply themselves with new types of food so you have to destroy the market for it to refresh. Just have a small market for each batch of houses
Dude, I did what you said to do at 3:02 next to my mine. No matter how many storehouse people I assign to it. They never take it to that storehouse at all. Even checked the box for iron only, tried assigning them to work there, and even tried having them work that area only using the Advanced circle option. Still they wont store in that specific storehouse. They just sit at home as "waiting" to work. The iron pit is very far from my town, about half way across my territory. I have no idea how to get it to work. This also happens in town with firewood not being moved to storehouses I specified just for firewood. I have a storehouse that has 2,000 firewood in it and they wont move it to the market stalls. Game is glitchy
Ello, pls make a video outlining good formations for rome 2 or just a general newb guide. I'm a newb and ur tip videos are good but don't contain the right info for me to do that well in battles
well you can get the deep mine if u have a rich deposit, but u need to unlock it with development points. But I find it better to just trade in weapons and armor if you have the cheaper imports.
use the iron to make weopons.! if build a smith in a house it will make spears sword and halberds and tools.. first invest i do is uprgrade two houses to level 2 as fast a s can one too make shields and one too make spears.. for yorur militia .. the rest of the iron i use to make Helmets . you can build a Harness shop also if you level up a house too level 2 . then shoes and /or war bows and you have a decent army with the retinue..
@@Heli0Jr true but I am careful with that because if you deplete your iron and don't build helmets first it is not good if you are sure you have excess enough trade .. but killing bandit camps give you enough money.. and I would rather keep weapons in reserve . Also for weapon trade you need too open up a trade lane.. and for normal trade you don't have too..
The central market works fine for the population but not for production. I had claymine, kiln and a warehouse in one location, workers in the neighborhood and charcoal stored in the warehouse and the klin worker went to a firewood stal at a far away market. A marketplace with 1 firewood stal in the same aera makes sense.
For early Farming. Create 3 farms. farm 1 crop rota year 1&2 farm 2 crop rota year 2&3 farm 3 crop rota year 3&1 So there is always a year for "healing", while still having farming going on 2 fields at any year. Increase to 6, 9 and so on so you never have an empty plot or too many in one year and not enough in some years.
Good video! I'd add 1 more tip which is to upgrade left in the red upgrade so you can make charcoal. No only it gives u double the fuel (1 firewood = 2 charcoal) but it's also a very good way to make money. 1 charcoal gives 5 silver and u make 2 charcoal from 1 firewood so insted of 1 silver u gain 10
A HUGE tip is to use a different forest to get wood from the forest you get berries, otherwise it can destroy your berries bushes. (happened to me on my first time)
1. Placing farms in the wood is waste because, you should first make log camp to cut down those trees, this way the resources are not wasted 2. even if you put all the buildings and pause them, the game will count thouse resources needed to build already consumed, and you will not be able to build anything else. 3. You dont have to cut trees or build anything to make animals move, just put hunters camp in the circle while game is paused, it will move it, and you can do that as many times to move them where you want for no cost and no time
rooftiles are a waste. I tried selling about 100 of them, they dropped price from about 8 to 1 for the rest of the game. Not worth it. After that there was no point in getting clay.
This video is stupid. Dont mine iron???? Dont make iron slabs? If u produce them yourself u save lot of money on weapons and armor + u can sell every piece to make profit.
You got any tips?
Sub for more!!🫶❤️
Export: planks, clothes, barely
Import: grain and barely

I'd add one small tip: always do the 'fasting' policy. I've noticed no loss of approval from it (not sure how much food it saves you tho)
If you have it you should go the hunting policy had 4 people on the camp it rarely ran out

So, any life hacks regarding new regions you aquire. To share all resources etc
After you sell first 40-50 rooftiles price is decreasing to 4or 1 coin. Than you need to wait 4-6 months

Still don’t fully understand market places in combination with Grannaries…
read my comment, hes completely wrong
I think market places will get supplies or material from granaries so that “food stalls” can open up, so keeping them near each other may make supply more efficient? I’m new at this game trying to understand.
Just make sure ur food is alright so you can grow your amount of workers and that will allow you to have enough people everywhere😊

@rhearose9426 it's ok, everybody is new the game has been out for 5 days

same issue main man
it's probably a bug that is gonna be fixed soon

How do you get more stone iron or clay after you mined the resources apart from trading
well you can get the deep mine if u have a rich deposit, but u need to unlock it with development points. But I find it better to just trade in weapons and armor if you have the cheaper imports.
Either have deep mining on a rich resource, or trade between regions you own. Otherwise once the node is empty your done so plan ahead

bro these are the hidden tips and tricks i was looking for!! Amazing gooood content

Really cool video!👏👏 Well done!
Anyone understands how much/fast each specialization of your plots will give you?
For early Farming.
Create 3 farms.
farm 1 crop rota year 1&2
farm 2 crop rota year 2&3
farm 3 crop rota year 3&1
So there is always a year for "healing", while still having farming going on 2 fields at any year.
Increase to 6, 9 and so on so you never have an empty plot or too many in one year and not enough in some years.
Alright, bro, I'm gonna have to subscribe because not only is your content useful - it's also funny!

How do you get more workers?
I saw workers go to market pick up goods on multiple occasions. Not sure you are right about not placing the market close to your houses
1. Placing farms in the wood is waste because, you should first make log camp to cut down those trees, this way the resources are not wasted 2. even if you put all the buildings and pause them, the game will count thouse resources needed to build already consumed, and you will not be able to build anything else. 3. I have 60 hours and just realized I never pressed tab.
To start village in new region you have to go to your town and then pick tents, and move to new region.
rooftiles are a waste. I tried selling about 100 of them, they dropped price from about 8 to 1 for the rest of the game. Not worth it. After that there was no point in getting clay.
Rebuy them at 1 and wait till they are back to 8 and then resell
You don’t need open spaces right? You can call your troops and then give attack order
Of course not, most of these "life hacks" are not useful or actually bad for the eco
Ox are “coherent”??? So you’re saying they are alert, oriented, logical and consistent?
That subtitle was a bit odd.
Great content like always!
I like your videos a lot haha
good work lad .... i got th game and yeah this video and th the other 10 i will watch will hopefully help me

Good job, bro thank u
Where are you bro? It's been 3 months are you good?
Make a video on how trading works
Decent vid mate 💜
Thanks very useful🙏🏻❤️
*INHALE*
if you want your city to be efficient and more than 200 villagers DONT DO ANYTHING FROM THIS VIDEO he have no idea
Pottery in my game goes really down and it cots 1 coin :D
War bows are easy to make and sell at 5 gold
Thanks!
1 plot equals 1 family?
I can't tell if this is a troll video or serious
Yea, this might be the worst manor lords Video i‘ve seen yet
🔥🔥🔥
That slap got me
nice
deff first!
If you sell lots of clay rooftiles, their price will drop. However, there is another profitable product - shoes.
I started selling only like 100 and it dropped for the entirety of the game from 8 to 1... yeah not worth it at all
T T T T T T T T T T T LOL!!
This video is stupid. Dont mine iron???? Dont make iron slabs? If u produce them yourself u save lot of money on weapons and armor + u can sell every piece to make profit.
