Man Shion is just a speed demon and so has so many technical tricks, but I love Andrew's style. Seriously just style for days.

Last year, shion missed the trapeze => first place
This year, andrew misses the bind => second place

Is seems like they both missed at least 3 or 4 landings/binds this year. They're subtle, but they're there. It honestly probably came down to Andrew having more flow, style, and crowd engagement, while Shion lacked most of those, but had way more string hits and a was generally faster.
This reminds me of Colin Beckfords 2016 US freestyle... I personally love the style Colin and Bergy have!

Erix_Jsn Can't agree. Shion's tech is pedestrian (relative to a World's level player, I mean). It's his speed that's gotten him his championships, not his tech. Bergy's tech destroys Shion's.
At the beginning for the build up, could've done a speed combo or something instead of having that time just go I know hes a tech player however nonetheless still a great Fs.
