Anyway…I’ve an audiobook by William Gibson called Alien 3 - an unproduced screenplay on the PatrickPredator channel, which I’ve heard is a great listen - but it’s in an AI voice. Do you know of any other editions that have a human voice? ‘Her’ voice isn’t terrible by any means, but it’s somewhat monotone and lacks the terror inflection (and other) and sense of urgency a human narrator can provide. However, beggars can’t be choosers - if this edition is the only one available, I’ll just be grateful for PatrickPredator to have made it available. Also, someone in the comments section mentioned this Alien3 screenplay made it to a comic format??? Would either of you know where that might be twirling around on TH-cams hard drives?
When George Lucas first viewed The Force Awakens, his reaction to the “genius” of Abrams and Disney was: “There’s nothing new here.” My point is that this story here is so much better than the Alien3 we got. Dog Alien runner and other superficial differences aside, there was nothing new with the third film we got - it was an Alien retread. The body burster scene was meant to be shocking and (attempt to) top the chestburster scene. It would’ve been great to see it on the big screen.
@@SniffHeinkel My comment was getting too long, but i meant to say that the closest thing we got was the backburster from Covenant. I dunno - ripping, squishing and cracking?
@@SniffHeinkelI wonder at what point the host expires. But until that point was realized, the pain must have been beyond horrific. The picture at 04:20 leaves me in shivers.
Makes me wish for a classic chestburster. At least you can get rid of those. This is just an instant death sentence the minute it forms its first cells.

@@snieves4 Based on the rewrite, which wasn't quite as exciting and gory as the original screenplay that Gibson delivered.

I wanted Wooden Planet so much. There's a website where you can read the storyboard. However, it's still incomplete.
