I honestly have no clue as I have no recollection of the names of who did nor did I write it down, but three people requested the build so it's entirely possible.
Since this build is quite early in development, it still feels like 8.1 and identified as such in many areas let alone a 6.3 kernel version, although the default desktop background is now blue (img1). Even early Server 2016 builds around this timeframe were still identified as 2012 R2 in many areas. At least Setup now just says status...
Well, not all Windows 10 versions - on the LTSB/LTSC channels, 1607 will stay supported until 2026 and Server 2016 until 2027, 1809 and Server 2019 continues support until 2029, and Server 2022 goes until 2031. Enterprise LTSC 2021 and IoT Enterprise 2021 editions will continue support until 2027 and 2032 respectively. But given that 65% still use Windows 10, Microsoft might consider changing their mind like they did with Windows 98 back in the 2000s.
It doesn't appear to be a lie. As of now, the main branch of Windows 10 ends support in 2025. Paid ESU Updates may be possible through 2027 but most people aren't going to be eligible for them afaik.
did you know you can change the start menu back to fullscreen just click the taskbar and click properties, then click on start menu option and click use the start menu instead of start scresn you should try it, bc it was cool but, it will not support on windows 10 build 99xx
Absolutely. I do recall that back during the days of the Technical Previews (I did actually test two builds before Windows 10 released), but I forgot about it when doing these videos.
I personally have zero interest in this. The initial reasoning behind why I did the build videos was to back up my "All Windows Startup And Shutdown Sounds" videos to provide credibility when it comes to proving that I know what the real sounds are for what OS. I've stood against fakes and parodies and focus exclusively on real content.
@@WinchesterTK Very early build of Windows 10. The earliest builds of each OS always have references and look alike to the previous OS as they're never built from scratch.
@@Sonicrush007I understand, but one thing is true: it's still a windows 10 system, but it's migrating to a new version, isn't it? I don't know how it works, but because it's a development version like this, can you use windows 10 programmes and applications or not?
It's not "migrating". It's basically being changed a build at a time as changes are never made all at once as that can create issues and it takes months or years to do an OS.
It's Windows 10, but it's a super early build of Windows 10 (actually the earliest build we know of) hence the Windows 8 references. Windows OSes are not made from scratch. References to the previous OS is characteristic of the earliest builds of each OS.

Hands down one of my favorite Windows 10 builds❤, thanks Billy😊
Good videos as always Billy!
As always, nice video!
And if I'm not wrong I think I requested this build. Correct me if I'm wrong

I Will Miss Windows 10 :(

Wow windows 10?
Make a video about a mod assembly of Windows 7, based on Windows 10
I think you should start your own windows never released series. The first build I would create is “Windows Codename Threshold Build 9688.”

Windows Server 2008 R2 build 7000 please, I changed my request
Do windows 8 build 8220
Wtf? Windows 10? What happened?
