Praise God. First time I saw Dr Pete Sanches after so many times in my life playing his worship song to our God from cassette tapes and now mostly you can play on you tube. Every time I received my salary before I quickly run to buy cassette tapes integrity Hosanna, Maranatha etc and this is one of my cassette tapes I played then and now. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! I wish you good health always.
So great to meet brother Sanchez the person nehi d the voice I am blessed to hear this interview God continues to bless everyone in the Hosanna music and also the body of Christ worldwide. Blessings!
Thank you Lord for writing, “I Exalt Thee,” through Dr. Pete Sanchez. Thank you for his obedience to listen and hear the songs of heaven that You have already written. What a blessing to grow up under his leadership and worship in the Lord’s presence! I know I am who I am today because of Pastor Pete’s devotion to You! I am thankful for how God has used this song in my life to remind me of His nearness as well. This songs feels like home to me. I remember being in Israel, on a trip by myself, at a 24/7 worship house of prayer in Jerusalem and I was questioning me being in Israel alone, but then the worshipper at the piano started to sing “I Exalt Thee,” and I began to weep because it was confirmation that I was right where I needed to be. God used me in a powerful way on that trip, but knowing in my heart that I was meant to be there was impactful!! Thank you for sharing this video. My dad, Marvin Hatton, shared it with me. He and my mom were in that service that Dr. Pete talks about, when “I Exalt Thee,” was birthed. God is so good!! May it continue to usher in the presence of God and bring transformation to the body of Christ!!❤
This video is such a blessing. I was recently at a worship event at a park and this song came on and the intensity to sing along was so powerful I couldn't keep quiet. "I Exalt Thee" was bursting out of me as I sang and in time of devotion I needed to dig more into the story of how this song came to be. From heaven, to David's psalms to our churches, praise and worship hear on earth. Thank you so much for making this video.
I can’t believe this is the same worship leader that not only wrote I Exalt Thee, but also did the album I Exalt Thee in 1986! Thanks for this interview!
Listening to the doctor's experience with the first chords I remember the first time I heard this praise of Petra and I felt the same, and since they told the composer in heaven I think that's where it came from. When I heard it in Hebrew I had in my spirit a voice so clear and real that it told me this song is what was heard on the Mount of Olives when the feet of Jesus stopped touching the ground, I suppose it filtered from the third heaven when The door was opened for the Lord to come up
Thank God for using Dr. Pete to release this enduring song, which has blessed and will continue to bless the Church. Have put a second verse to this song - th-cam.com/video/6RHjZcJOSPE/w-d-xo.html Be blessed!

An anointed song writer in early contemporary worship. Love him and his songs. They always ushered me into worshiping the Lord.
What a blessing to hear! Thank you for sharing that with us 🖤
