I've resorted to the dark room to rest my bulbs too. I lost abt 32 bulbs which had frozen in the fridge. Kept them in the crisper but we are experiencing the monsoon now in Malaysia, therefore the weather is cooler, guess my fridge decided to go colder than usual & my poor bulbs got the brunt of it. Keeping my fingers crossed the dark room treatment works though. Thank you for the inspiration :)
Hi Sonia. A dark room can be as simple as a large cardboard box with a lid. Or a kitchen cupboard that you can keep closed for 6 weeks. It depends how many bulbs you're treating. It's an important question so I'll do a video on it later in the year. Thank you🌄💕
Thanks for asking. I've only just decided to start propagating amaryllis so it will take at least a year before I'll have sufficient for sale. All the best for the holiday season🙏💕
