This is probably the best video I have seen about planting orchids in the ground. Most people do them in pots and treat them so delicately as though they can not be planted in the ground and open spaces. I think the trick is the kind of orchids you have chosen and how you have meticulously pepared the soil, watering routines, fertilizing, and initiated pest control.
