Tips:
1. The shipwright at Songseeker wilds gave you a map, you can press M to view the current luminant (part of the world) you are in, also works in the depths. The map displays your current location as well as areas you have been to
2. Voidwalkers can only be player-controlled characters, and the "black aura" is the circling black arcs like the gentleman at 32:49 had. The voidwalkers sometimes make a noise when teleporting near to you
3. The whirlpool at 30:55 doesn't send you up, it sinks your boat and sends you to the depths (Basically killing you with a stained bar). These whirlpools can also spawn randomly throughout the Eastern luminant.
4. The Eastern luminant has more sea hazards than the Etrean luminant, like the bat creatures you encountered as well as a Lionfish at 21:27 which can spawn from bubbling parts of the sea
5. There are certain dangerous areas called "Voidzones" that generally give better rewards, but dying in a voidzone will send you to the depths, regardless of how many lives you have left. You can tell it is a voidzone by looking at the biome's name before entering or by the white veins surrounding the screen.
6. That little blue needle on your head at 18:53 is a surge stack from the 'Surge' attunement path you picked for Thundercall. It accumulates overtime as you hit more thundercall moves on the same opponent. Once it hits a certain amount, the stacks disappear and deal damage to the opponent.
7. The reason why you're glitched like in 31:42 is due to a small bug where after casting a mantra, it can put you into its casting stance. Just cast whichever mantra caused it to get rid of it, I think it was electro carve
8. You do m1 finishers by doing 3 m1s using the sword
9. To level up Heavy weapons, you'll need to train using a heavy weapon. Use something like the Battle axe to do so (buyable in placed like the Etris weapons shop) There aren't many hybrid weapons or moves in Deepwoken yet, but they recently added a medium/heavy sword called the Wyrmtooth. It needs 60 medium weapons and 40 heavy weapons, and you need to be lvl 15. It drops from two bosses, one is called "Maestro Evengarde Rest" and the other is the Dread Serpent, many calling it "Kaido". I recommend you watch a tutorial on how to unlock Maestro as a boss if you want to fight him, though this is endgame stuff so i don't suggest doing this first.
10. I recommend grinding at Miner's landing for two or three more levels, then use the map with M and travel to the Starswept valley. you'll need to sail to a small island infront of it, climb up to a boost pad, and glide over to Starswept using a glider
11. If there is something I missed out that you need info on, you can go check out the wiki or the Deepwoken info discord, both are very useful in giving info and answering questions

1- (super important tip) if you go to etrea and go to the guild hall you can make a guild (you can also join someone else's guild if you want) after making a guild you can spawn a guild base which is like a home area to chill you buy different rooms like a room for crafting armor or a chill room with a permanent campfire or a guy to sell (its very useful as you wont need to worry about having a campfire and it acts as a safe zone because mobs cant go in ur base but players can tho
2- you can also modify mantras at a modifying table you can make them bigger or larger range or you change the move entirely by using a spark (the more you add to a mantra the more ether it takes)
3- you can upgrade your mantras by going to the respective trainer so lightning mantras you go to the lightning trainer. upgrading the mantras makes them do more dmg
4- dont lvl up heavy weapon, when you make a build you choose a weapon type if you lvl up multiple weapon types it would be a waste so i would recommend sticking to medium and when you start a new slot try heavy or light if you want
5- That whirlpool is the entrance to the depths (layer 1) you can go there by the whirlpools or dying twice and if you die in the depths you wipe
6- if i were you id lvl till lvl 15 at song seeker then go to hive which is the sandy area where you fought the lion fish(you will need a glider if you want to go from this path, glider = 2 sticks and 2 cloth/megaladaunt hide). you can also go to hive from fort merit
7- at fort merit you can go into their dungeon and take the etreans that they are keeping as slaves and take these etreans to a ship at the bottom of the lift to the left and you can get some good loot

Layer 1 and layer 2 are basically levels of purgatory, you are sent into Layer 1 once you die twice, and if you die there you wipe.
Layer 2 though, is something deeper, you can go there either by jumping into the void once you are past level 3 or finding the building of "Divers" faction, and talk to Klaris there.
Layer 2 serves as a late game dungeon, where you have to fight two main bosses for great loot.
Oh, and you should probably check out oaths in the wiki, they are complicated to explain in a single comment so you should find that out by yourself.
imo it would of been cooler if he found out about layer 1 and 2 himself instead of looking it up or getting told by others

Here's a tip if you die a second time: You won't actually get wiped, you'll get sent to the layer 1 of the depths, and you can escape, if you go inside the drowned city, climb the huge walls, by either stacking up some boxes and climbing them or using a skill that makes you jump very far, you will just have to go to the middle of the city, once you are there, take the big lift that goes up and there will be a trial waiting for you. The higher level you are the harder the trial will be. Hope this helps!

MORE TIPS BUT SIMPLIFIED!!!:
1. The thing that was attacking your boat is called a lionfish, on the surface they dont do much other than try to break your boat, but in the depths (creepy underwater place) they are a menace, they are quick and agile and can fire a huge beam that decimates 2.5 bars of ur total hp, but its rlly easy to handle them :3.
2. For me personally, grinding in the depths as a diver is really easy, the only downsides are if u die, you wipe. Other than that there are some good sides to deepbound, you dont have to worry abt voidwalkers bcs they cant hunt u in the depths, its rlly easy to lvl up if u gank up on monsters (freshies together strong). And u dont need to worry abt pvp much bcs u can run back to castle of light if ur in trouble and let the npcs take care of it, just never go too far away from castle of light. You can also ask the pro players in castle of light whether u should go pve or pvp, everyone in the castle of light is so friendly.
If you ever do a fifth Deepwoken video, I'd recommend going to Starswept Valley. It's a desert-like Island (21:39 you've somewhat been there) with a ton of crocs (they're called threshers) they might be hard to kill at first but, once you get the timings they will be the easiest mob to fight (also avoid fighting BIGGER thresher, as those are far stronger and difficult). When you arrive at the desert, you'll notice a giant wooden gate with neon green signs, thats the gate to the Starfield Grove, to open it you'll need to go to the left side (while facing the gate) of the desert and use the green jump pads to climp up, once you've arrived at the top of the left half of the Island, look for a hole with one or two threshers, fall down there, kill the threshers and there will be an entrence on your sight, go through there (there might be some more threshers along the way), just go by the left and you will eventually encounter a bridge-like structure and at the end of it theres a fountain where you'll need to wash your face in. After that, the gate should be open (trust me it's really simple actually don't worry), once you get in, just go up and access the green fountain that will teleport to the big tree (the Great Hive Aratel), that place is basically the save-zone of the Eastern-Luminant.
To put it simply, just grind on the desert.
tips:
1. you can press G to vent (burst/combo breaker)to push the enemies back if you getting combo and can't parry (there's a small bar under your ether bar, that's tempo which is used for vent) vent can be parry or block
2. you can press T to spit/taunt it slightly heals you and decreases your posture bar (block bar) if you spit on the npc or player (don't do it on a friendly npcs like guards though they gonna jump you)
3. you got khan race (monkey race) khan can use weapons with 3 points lower than the requirement (example if you have 47 med, you can use 50 med)
4. every monster, npc or even players has a 2 type of attacks parryable and unparryable, you can parry almost every moves and the unparryable one is the one with red effect and a violin sound (that's one more which is undodgeable, same with unparryable but with blue effect)
5. you can feint attacks by press m2 (m1 then m2) feint mantras by use mantras and press m1 then m2, you can dodge cancel by m2 after dodge

1. at 23:50 is an event i highly reccomend fighting for 1 big reason that helped me alot, if you kill the purple npcs (all 4 of them) you will get good reputation with the faction called knifes of eylis which are the voidwalkers that hunts you, do enough of thoose events and eventually you will have neutral reputation and they will stop hunting you
2. I think youre ready to get an oath. (check on the wiki for the oaths) basically gives you more mantra slots, oath abilities(depends on what oath you will use) and passive stats
3. Tools such as pickaxe, axe, canteen, glider are really usefull and you should get them
4. Fear the depths.
Don't fight the npcs u are gonna get bad rep with Etris Wich when u enter Erisia or Isle Of Vigilis u will get hunted and u need rep for duke or maestro. And they will still hunt you but less if u have netrual rep with knives of eylis not worth imo
@@SUVATEC you dont get bad rep for killing the etris npcs only good rep with eylis thats how i got neutral rep on all my slots getting hunted by voidwalkers 24/7 isnt gonna be fun(plus they buffed voidwalker exp so even more ppl choose that origin)
Something I've noticed newer players do is move when fighting mobs, people or humanoid npcs, I do not know why as I never did that but I personally think standing still is better because you can concentrate and focus better.
1. The spider-web looking things surrounding your screen are insanity indicators. While in the depths and in certain places across the map (like voidzones) you build up sanity. If you have too much sanity and enter a voidzone like Songseeker your head will pop and you will die.
2. You can change and alter your keybinds by clicking the gear at the very top of your screen.
3. In the depths, there is something called the Eternal Gale. This is "Layer Two" of the depths; or deepwoken itself. Here, you fight endgame bosses like Chaser and Ethiron.
4. You should look at getting an Oath. An oath is you swearing your life to an Oath, shown in a talent provided once you finish the given oath quest. Oaths give you special ability, all unique to each oath.
5. Songseeker, while a decent place for grinding EXP is typically ridden with voidwalkers. You should try to go back to the place with the Mechanical Megalaudants (mech sharkos) as it's a good source of exp from level 12-16.
Good luck!
1. The whirlpool that u wanted to risk and go inside brings you to the depths
2. if u die 2 times u DONT wipe, u just go to the depths which u can escape by doing the dephts trail
3. u should settle on 1 weopon type (in your case med)
4. usually random players dont attack you if theyre no voidwalkers
5. sell all things that u wont use right now nor later on
6. try optaining an oath (easiest one is jetstriker which u need 50 agility for)
7. go to the songseeker island where there is a flag. on this island there are most of the songseeker npcs u can fight (also be carefull about the black/green lizard thingys and giant meat/eyeballs, dont go near the eyeballs)
Been waiting for ages for this series but im glad that I have noti on (finally I can continue watching this series)
There's items classed as "mantra modifiers" that you can use on your skills to change how they work fundamentally. You can apply them by going to a campfire/table and going to your mantras, withdrawing them and placing them at a mantra table by holding them out and clicking (mantra tables can be found inside mantra stores, there’s one at Etris) and then putting a modifier of your choice down (Cloudstones, Stratus stones, Crystal lens, Aeon logstone, drift shards, vibrant gem and more)
They all do different things, from changing the size/speed of your mantra to completely changing it into a new skill
1. Go hive to farm exp and level up, that is where you can progess the fastest.
2. When you see a voidwalker and you are not in combat or when your character glitches, just server hop.
3. The whirlpool that you early earlier i the video 30:45 will tp you to the depths.
4. You can get an enchanted weapon by exchanging 3 enchanted armors with an npc at the Greathive Aratel, in order to reach there you will need to wash your face which is also located at Hive (watch youtube tutorial).
5. In order to get into hive you will need to craft a glider, if you don't have the recipe to craft it, you need to head to lower erisia and find for a npc (watch youtube tutorial).
6. Get an oath (watch youtube tutorial).
U can prog fast in hive but I don't think a new player should fight the treshers
1. Songseekers spawn up, you will see the different spawns - at the big tree in between the 2 islands , after you climb the big tree on the island with the building with a door through it keep climbing and as you go up you will see songseekers. (Song seeker wilds) 2. When you kill different npcs you raise or decrease your reputation with that npcs clan when you have negative rep that will try to kill you and the people at their island won’t talk to you positive rep gives you different missions like duke at etrea 3. Mostly focus on the weapon type your using so you can get as strong with it as possible if you go heavy and medium you won’t do as much damage 4. Mudskippers like the ones you found in the cave are weak and your could kill them with 3 m1s with 40 medium the bats are also weak and shouldn’t be over estimated 10 m1s should kill you should use mantras if you don’t know how to fight them 5. When your out of danger and running from someone or something use your open door at the top left to not die (you were a little slow when clicking) 6. I have more tips but get higher level then I will give, I can help you also if needed 😊👍

when fighting those songseeker dudes, they come in different elements like gale, lighting, flame, and ice, some of them act different like gale songseekers are very passive, the ice songseekers are kinda in the middle, flame will instantly use flame arrow, when you see this you should not hesitate and fight them, lighting songseekers will instantly pull you so be careful!!!!!!!! hopes this helps

Tips
1.The bats and the miners/mudskippers are the easiest monsters to eliminate since they do low dmg and hp.
2. The mech/robo sharkos ( 26:40 )are like the sharkos (rika) but harder
3.When you were fighting the mecho/robo sharkos, you noticed your screen turned blue and had some circle, that shows your character is going insane, if you are too insane your head will explode. To prevent, you need a decent amount of willpower to get lesser effects
4. The whirlpool (30:52) if you drive your boat to it, it will destroy your boat and drag you to depths (hell). If you die in depth, your character will die permanently unless you want to spend 1000 Robux to bring it back to life
5. The lionfish (I forgot the name) is the 2nd easiest sea monster to kill if you have a decent amount of dps
6. All the attack from thrasher is parryable but I recommend dodging when it swings its tail and when it disappears/dig under ground, wait til the red flashing circle appears before dodge (32:23)
7. Notice when the thrasher has a fire effect, Some monster will spawn that type of effect (Gale/wind, Fire, Ice, thunder and shadow) the worse one is corrupted (since it increases a lot of it HP and dmg, you can tell if the aura is abit purpleish aura
8. Get good reps from most fractions to be last hunted by voidwalkers
Last tip (9). Party, attack and dodge :)

Hi HW, i noticed you were having trouble getting kind of infinite combo-d by mobs, on the bottom of your screen you can see a small bar under your ether (mana bar), it's called Tempo, when your tempo bar reaches near half you will be able to "vent" which is done by pressing G, venting allows you to get out of any m1 combo as long as it's not an anim. Hope this reaches you!
1. The white uhh idk how to call that tbh thing saround ur screen on the edges mean ur in a voidzone which will send you straight o the depths if u die instead of loosing 1 life
2. The Map keybind is M, and the Map will uncover the more you explore!

5.1 40 agility - ghost, a talent that will turn you invisible and give you s for a second if you dodge
5.2 40 fortitude - exoskeleton, gives u natural armor which will basically just get you more survivability
6. Theres Oaths in the game Which basically give you abilities, most of them need a stat requierment tho

I have a few tips
1. Like voidwalker, there are origins you can unlock and I’m pretty sure there are 4 of them, you can be: a Diver, a Voidwalker, or Stranded (4 because stranded has two different paths) Stranded 1: Etris/Isle of Vigils and Stranded 2: Trial of One
Divers spawn in the depths,
Voidwalkers spawn in the Voidheart,
And Stranded spawns in their respective locations.
2. At some point past max level, you will begin to resonate your inner being, your Song. Your Song is what others call a resonance, or a “bell” because it takes the shape of a bell. Basically it’s the power that your soul takes past Power. It can be obtained by progressing normally, killing mobs in The Depths, or fighting bosses.
You can check progression and your designed way of obtaining it by locating a statue behind the Starswept Valley, there’s two, but the one you’ll need is the one with a little guy on the statues shoulder. He will help you find out if you give him a Thresher Spine, (you only need to give it to him once) and he will tell you. But along with telling you your progress, he will tell you your soul’s best way of obtaining it. This can be through fighting players, fighting bosses, or fighting enemies in The Depths. Your resonance can be different though, with legendary and corrupt ones, and you can even reroll it.
But, once you DO get your resonance, and you decide to reroll, don’t like what you get, and then choose the one you got last time, it will basically become tainted. And the only way to get rid of this (having a tainted bell makes it weaker) is talking to the Chime of Conflict NPC. He will offer for 1000 notes.
3. Oaths, very valuable. Oaths are similar to bells but are paths that you can choose that help you in different parts of your attributes, I won’t explain much, because you are not quite smart enough.

Information: All the songseekers will use fist, in my opinion the easiest one to fight is gale. When you escape depths your only gonna fight a megalodaunt, since your below power 16 and above 9, the last place you left off before you went to depths is the Hive, basically the hive isnt a good place to farm for someone of your skill/level i recommend either grinding at song seeker, OR you can go to minityrsa and go to the Crypt of the Unbroken, the Crypt is kind of just abunch of heavy users their easy once u get used to the parrying. In the depths, i reccomend not trying to fight that much stuff and trying to avoid them, by returning to menu/leaving or just getting out of their sight.

my lord at 14:29 hw's bank is the saddest thing i have ever seen
also pro tip if your ever in a sticky situation like in 12:17 just run away till your not combat locked then log (close the game via the door icon in the top left of the screen). and you might ask well why not just press the x at the top right of the screen, isn't it faster? true its faster but if you press the x your character will stay in the game for a 1 second or more allowing you to get attacked and combat locket making it so when your character disappears you combat logged and you lose a life.
also the move bolt piercer you used is a amiable one so don't use it with shift lock. you have to aim it with your cursor it should be mostly used for sneak attacks since it does hella dmg if it hits.
another thing to note is DO NOT go to bluster rift even if you are high level i feel you are way to inexperienced with monsters and whatnot and almost all the encounters there are indeed monsters. speaking of which this on of the times were you don't be brave and run for your life. the fact you almost died to a sharko proves my point your not ready for monsters.
also final pro tip from ya boy jimjam BE BRAVE like dam when i see you running from a really easy event it makes my blood boil also same with players (unless they are a voidwalker) you always run from them but you need a guild my guy to get that guild base. and don't get me started about the lion fish YOU CALLED IT A BOSS which is just a major i repeat MAJOR over statement. but as for the mecha sharko you get a pass because at your level they are strong and very hard to beat due to them having the highest hp of all the sharko variants. but just remember if something seems strong it don't matter its probably not hat strong
just be brave.

HW here are some tips that helped me get used to the combat and get better at the game.
1. Mantras serve as tools to mixup and combo your opponent. In Pve, you wanna use your mantras to guard break them, and sometimes blitz their hp.
2. Take your time when parry trading with npcs. This is how you should fight everytime. Parry their attack > Attack them > If you land a hit, attack again. If your attack is blocked or parried move to next step. > If they attack, parry. If they feint, dodge and press m2 to roll cancel so you stay close to them. > Repeat until they die
3. Make use of your critical(aka heavy attack) when you are parry trading. For example, instead of m1ing right after a parry, sometimes use a critical so you guard break them and open them up for combos.
4. Play aggressive, playing passive WILL get you killed.
5. Make use of the wiki for knowledge on 90% of what you need.
6. BUILDS ARE KEY!! Your build can make or break your time on deepwoken. (I'm in your discord, so if you add a channel for builds in deepwoken I'll cook some for you and others.)
7. Make a guild ASAP. Guildbases are really important, and can come in clutch when you need somewhere to rest or if you needa just chill for a moment.
8. Fight voidwalkers. I know that sounds counter intuitive but you'll build your skill that way, and it can help you long term for if you need a certain item, and a voidwalker happens to have it.
9. You are only eligible to get voidwalked at Lvl. 5, so your first 5 levels are just to help you get situated.
DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP, DEEPWOKEN IS VERY DIFFICULT SOLO.

I’ll be honest, I love these new kind of videos they are more entertaining for me and doesn’t change a lot of Hw’s editing style or kills off the essence of his videos, overall it is a solid video to watch if you wanna kill of time, learn about the game and also see more of Hw’s personality

two biggest things i think you need help with, navigation and some game knowledge (dw abt this for now)
1- YOU DONT WIPE IF YOU DIE WITH A STAINED HP BAR, you will get sent to depths, now if you die in depths you wipe. You can escape through the interstice in the drowned city, but you must complete a trial before leaving, at your level you should get an angel or megalodaunt, you should only have an issue with the angel. TIP: if you ever get low in the trial climb the walls and stay there to heal with warriors respite
2- You can press M to see a map, but the map will only show locations you've been to physically.
Basically, If u die twice u get sent to the depths which in map u saw earlier is layer 1, there is another layer called layer 2 and layer 2 floor 2. Layer 2 can be accessed by the light manor in the depths but i dont reccomend to go to l2 so early. L2( Layer 2) is a dungeon whose boss is chaser, the blood scholar. After you beat chaser, there is crack in middle of the floor which takes you to floor 2 but klaris cant save u through light hook there as its far to reach. Floor 2 can be entered without light hook or with light hook ( i reccomend u do it with light hook as if u die, klaris will send u back to light manor and u dont get wiped) I reccomend depths layer 2 at lvl 18 or 20 bc it will be easier then and mind u THE navigation and mobs are hard but u will get used to it
Some tips : buy the next boat it only costs 50 notes and it's a bit better. Always take the last stuff in chests (the amethyst, diamonds and more). They don't take up space in the inv and you can sell them for sum good money. You can craft flint with coal and rock (you can see the crafting recipes in your inv), so def take a pickaxe.
simple tip: when npcs are guardbroken, just m1 spam it until a flourish (m1 finisher) it happens after landing 4 m1s in rapid sucession and it will knock the npc back. playing aggresive after guardbreaking or landing a m1 is what will make you better. alot of players play defensive and run back afterlanding 2 m1s but you need to remember they get stunned when you m1 them so dont be afraid to combo them
TL:DR be more aggressive after guardbreaks since they cant do anything from the m1 stun
Press G to Vent, a "Vent" is an Defensive mechanic (mainly used to cancel combo's) that efficiently negates and knocks back enemies. Note that this can only be used when the blue bar is over the line of your vent meter.
Some tips:
1. Use g to vent, venting is really usefull, it knock enemies back and preventing combos
2. Maybe but another slot and try to do trial of one.
3. Do not put stat on other weapon, because it will ruin your build.
4. If you see a voidwalker try to fight him since you will gain experience fighting other people
5. In certain places there are inns, where for 5 notes you can spawn there when you die
6. I recommend joining a guild and become a officer, you will be able to spawn guild where if it's advanced enough you can sell things, heal and etc in your guild
You should try creating a guild in etris, guilds let you create a guild base anywhere as long as you're not in combat and they're super useful when you invest your money into them. They let you unlock a lot of npcs that would be in towns like a blacksmith, a barber, and antiquarian and others. They also have a campfire in them that doesn't ever run out; the only downside is that you need to spend a lot of your money to unlock all of the rooms and npcs. Guilds also save between lives and character slots.
VERY BEGGINNER TIP --> go in ministry and try to clear trail of one (you have to be power 1 to do this) --> (It would also be great if someone clear for you that way you can save it and just teleport in there every time you wipe)
Recommend not to move to much when fighting enemy, some enemy attack can be parry and block so don't panic too much if you see an enemy, instead study their movements!

1. You can add and change your hotbar keybinds, which means you can bind your mantras to keys. makes it a little easierto combo mantras.
2. Songseeker is a good option yes, but Minityrisia is a much better option, until power 12-14, atleast.
3. It is incredibly important to plan out a build. A good idea (imo) would be figuring out which weapon path you want, which could be Swords, Spears, rifles or clubs, as hey each have their respective talents, and uses.
4. You get a total of 327 investment points to your stats. No more, sometimes less.
5. Try your best to unlock Greathive Aratel. Greathive is an island that lets you teleport between Erisia, Summer compny and the Hive, which is the assorment of sandy islands.
6. Possibly try to fight Duke Erisia, while he is by far one if not the easiest Boss in the game, he still has a minimum of 15000 hp, and can completely destroy you if you arent careful. However it is most definitely worth it due to how much investment points you get for defeating him. (A recommendation is getting 400 hp, you can check how much you have at campfires, and being power 14+)
1.Songseekers cant be assasinated.
2. You can obtain an oath called "Starkindred" in upper song seeker (requirments are 40 strength i think you also need something else.)
3. You may find multiple banners across eastern luminant that gives your guild money.
1-few people know this but your R attack does the same damage as an m1 (few criticals have more damage)
2-remember to use the G for a vent but do not use this desperately
3-if you pay attention you can see a flash on the enemy's weapon when he attacks, that is supposed to be the time to parry
remember deepwoken is a trial and error game you will have to die to learn new things so don't be angry about dying

1. Press Z to have faster swing speed
2. When you hit enemies while they are doing attack like Ice. It gets cancelled.

1. Strength - you can level this stat up by buying a "dumbbell" near the Antiquarian or fighting any enemy or player you can encounter on your journey.
2. Fortitude - you can level this stat up by buying a "boulder" or a "training vest" on the Antiquarian or getting hit by any source of damage from enemies.
3. Agility - you can level this up by buying "Ankle weights" near the Antiquarian or by parkouring or climbing walls.
4. Intelligence - you can level this up by buying a "math textbook" from the librarian on Etris and solving math equations (i do not recommend buying the encyclopedia).
5. Willpower - you can level this up by buying the "prayer beads" near the Antiquarian, by sitting down and praying, you will increase your willpower.
6. Charisma - you can level this stat up by buying the "How to make friends" book from the librarian in Etris and using it near NPC's or players.
7. Heavy/light/medium weapons - you can level these up by using your weapon and fighting or killing and enemy similarly to levelling up strength.
8. Attunement/Magic - you can level this up by using your mantras (magic) on enemies.

HW your next goal in progression should be trying to get an oath (basically a class). Currently since youve put a lot of points in agility, you can get the jetstriker oath (which recently got reworked) at minityrsa.
Also those bat things are easier than bandits, you just gotta spam m1 them.
When fighting a thresher (32:28) dont walk away from them, stand your ground and parry their attacks. When they burrow wait for the third red flash to roll. If it bites you parry 3 times, claw swipes you parry 2 times and tail swipe you parry once. Avoid using mantras and stick to your sword as to not get hit.
Tip: that bar under your green bar is a bar that fills up for fighting or taking damage, if you need to run away or escape a combo, press g, the bar has to be a quarter filled tho, u can know when it's filled when it goes from a dark shade to a bright shade of blue
Hey HW heres some more tips
It is suggested that you dont invest into more than one type of weapon type, when you wanted you wield the greatsword, thats probably not a good idea since that 40 points can be used for other attributes
Those Bat looking creatures you see when sailing are brainsuckers, they are basically the easiest thing to kill, don't worry when coming across them
In the Eastern Luminant, I suggest you stay at songseeker fighting the npcs there until you are level 15, then you are advised to travel to Hive (Hive can have the potential to be extremely dangerous, but you can also reap a lot of benefits such as armor and experience from it, I can't explain exactly how to get there, but you're gonna need a glider and a youtube video on how to sail there)
When accessing a shipwright (the guy who spawns a boat for you) you will now be granted a map, when pressing M, you can access this map (do note there are no words on it)
When equipping armor, you want to equip armor that has the most health and physical armor, as they protect against weaponry the most
Last thing I can suggest is to really embrace death, as far fetched as it sounds, its better to die again and again rather than avoid a lot of fights, it helps you understand whats going on and better yourself, also note that what you put in your bank account saves from slot to slot, meaning you can put things in the bank, wipe, and then access them later

HW if you ever need help with the depths trial and escaping, a lot of the people in comments including me could probably help you though you don’t want it maybe. But the best tip for depths trials is don’t stress. The things you fight are based off level, 10-16 is a sharko/megalodaunt and 17+ is an enforcer, they are hard and can parry attacks and also feint them, but once you learn how to fight them you’ll be fine

HW I recommend sticking to 1 weapon type as having more than 1 weapon type takes up most of your investment points I suggest levelling charisma and or strength as those would be the best starters for you to get.
Do NOT kill the people of summer isle, If you get Bad Reputation with the Summer Isle they will find you even outside of the Eastern Luminant to assassinate you the same thing will happen with Etris, The Hundred Legions and ETC.
If you can go back to the Summer Isle as there is a way to level up your Thundercall mantras (Improving the dmg of the mantra by a tad).
To be honest as an experienced player with 2-3 years of experience you should just train your parry you cant even trade parry some of the most basic npcs but no worrys train it by what your doing or go to isle of vigils and theres a guy you can talk and ask for an imstructor to par with you can train there parry trades
1) those miners that you encountered are like mudskippers(bc they are) and to counter them just spam parry then M1 or use abilities
2)deepwoken is kinda memory based but you'll get used to the fight mechanics after more encounters and fights ( recommend on fighting while low lv so you have nothing to lose and fighting different mobs at the same time may increase your gaming skills)
3)songkeepers can not be sneaked like crouch then M1 some mobs also can't be sneaked aswell
3.1)you can use the top left door icon to quick leave and your characterwill not be in the game if you exit Roblox instead of the game exit it woukd make you combat log and you will lose a life and drop some loot for the enemies
3.2) as you do in games do not be laggy as it can affect your whole accounts life if you miss a parry or lag while fighting a bunch of mobs or players be ready for your hp to turn into dust
4) this is to HW557 : this your first time so it's okay that you suck at beating mobs we were once their so take your time and hope you discover the depths to know how to get out (you'll need more skill / muscle memory to escape the depths)
5) just have fun in deepwoken you'll lose a lot of sanity playing this game so treasure every second you discover or did something I once too had happy moments but they were short lasting
The blue bar under your larger one is called tempo, if it glows blue u can click g to push enemies away, if enemies are one tap also (knocked but got up) it knocks them instantly so its useful, also hitting most npcs prevents them from getting up from the ground if you need to grip a lot. Also levelling up gives you a life if ur 1 life also that whirlpool you saw that you called the sky gate sends you to the depths but you dont gain a drown
You should look how to roll cancel and "vent" They will increase your chance of survival greatly
12:55 i would recommend getting the warriors respite talent when you level up over most other things, since it lets you automatically heal after standing still for 15 seconds. edit: nvm he got it in the vid 💀

1. The "boss" you were fighting was a lionfish, and they spawn when you're sailing.
2. The purple glowing rock is required for an oath(A special path you can take that gives new moves and buffs. Each oath has a different requirement.)
3. The npc that wanted you to kill someone at Songseeker gives you good reputation with the Ministrya faction which is needed for the Contractor oath.
4. It is not recommended to have stats in 2 different weapons like heavy and medium, and you should just put all into one for more damage.
5. Even if you lose both lifes, you don't wipe. You get sent to the depths. In order to escape the depths and go back to the surface, you need to do a trial.
Few tips:
1: when fighting keep your cool if you dont then you will likely take a lot of damage
2: the red bar is your blood meter loosing a lot of blood will result in a lot of damage taken
3: constantly keep an eye on your armor bar under your health when it runs out of gets low go to a blacksmith quickly when it runs out you loose the durability on your armor and take yet again a lot of damage
try to get jetstriker! the exploration will be way easier, and the upgrade quest will do some good content!
1. You have to learn how to parry so dont panic and just press F atp
2. Learn how to do ferryman/duke Or Primadon Those are the easiest bosses
3. Join to any guild so u can have guild room that should have campfire in it

1. there's something called a mantra table in the mantra shop in etrea and vigils and what happenes is u must uniquip your electro carve and when you have a magnet or blast spark it will bacically change your electro carve to be over powered. also you unequip electro carve at campfires.
2.if you would like obtain 50 agility for a new oath they just updated called jetstriker its located in minityrisa and is simple to obtain.
3. you can double click roll to get 2 roll cancels roll cancel is like a perfect dodge but harder and if times right you can dodge many attacks.
get all the unstable capacitator talents that pop up because they make your electro caave and other mantras very broken and busted its amazing.
You can use a sort of evasive called ''venting'' by pressing G when your tempo bar is high enough, you get tempo by hitting ennemies and the bar is below ether
Get aerial assault talent and chain of perfection. They help you progress 10 TIMES FASTER. You just gotta do these quests once and you have it unlocked every slot.

So it seems that you’re having trouble finding enemies at songseeker because you haven’t explored it completely. There’s a big area UP above the village with set npc spawns.
Also some more tips:
Don’t invest in heavy for the great sword since you already have medium.
Summer Isle has flint and all that it’s just in a specific room to the left of the banker
After hitting power 15-ish, I would go back to the place with the crocodiles known as Aratel or Hive island
You see the secondblue bars? That is tempo. Tempo can be used to vent by pressing G. Vent is basically a combo breaker that you can use whenever you're stuck in a combo. But do be carefull because you can only use it twice. But you can regenerate tempo after getting hit or if you hit someone.
17:26 these are not voidwalkers, voidwalkers are people with shadow tentacle looking over their body and if you see one towards you exist by the door at top left they're here for you.

Hw, dont grind in the overworld bro, go in the depths, altough dont try to level but rather download every monsters attack pattern and how to dodge it, u might die 100 or 150 times ish till u learn, but it will be worth it, incase u wipe go in the depths, then head to the diluvian mechanism, i recommend not going above stage 3 when ur below lvl 5, also dont start the mech at lvl 12, it will spawn high lvl monsters. When youre max level head to a castle like city, go on the walls, make ur way down till u get to a elevator, when you will properbly either fight a sharko (if ur below lvl 17 and not deepbound) or an enforcer (if ur deepbound or lvl 17-20), ngl enforcers are pretty easy, especially if you got a heavy weapon wich i highly recommend for the start since its good for grinding, also dont use thunder it kinda sucks, either use gale or fire, or try getting ironsing or shadow cast, but the main thing is, grind in the depths and try to learn the game, altough dont fight stuff that is corrupted, expect its like a corrupt lion fish or sharko, then fight them if ur good enough, now. i wish u a good luck with your deepwoken adventure, maybe we can even play togheter once and i can carry
Alr hw this is really important
After you die once in surface your health bar will change to orange if you die with orange health bar you will get send to the depths
To escape depths you got to go to the trial
The trial will spawn a monster on you based on your level
If you beat the monster you will escape and go back to over world
2- depths has 2 layers layer 1, layer 2
Layer one is the place that you go if you die twise in surface
Layer 2 is a dungeon , you can enter layer 2 by talking to a npc in catle light or jumping in the void with lvl3+
If you are going to use a heavy weapon buy a different slot it is a waste of points to try leveling 2 weapons since max level is only 20
And its good if you wear equipment that has hp stats so atleast your tankier
You can also set your spawn in tavern like buildings so atleast closer where you want to be
Also if you feel brave, jump into a whirlpool 😉 the place where it sends you is good for xp trust me

doing something called "trial of one" is the best when you want to learn about the fundamentals in this game, I recommend you beating it before actually trying to progress
Tips:
1 you were right to not take risks (you would go in the depth)

I recommend you take flamecharm (which is a fire magic) in your next life instead of thunder, it is way more newbie friendly. To get it go to where you got thunder in the starting menu and click flamecharm. If that is not an option it means you haven't unlocked it yet, click the random and die until you get it.
you should join a guild and become officer. having a guildbase is useful since its a free campfire, spawn point, antiquarian, and more while being able to be spawned almost anywhere on the map in the overworld.
One more thing about voidwalkers is that voidwalkers gets bounties on you. The lower reputation you have with different factions the higher the chance of voidwalkers having a available bounty on you. You can check your reputation by a camp or a crafting table for an example.
27:04 when ur screen is blue like that it means ur going insane, go to a campfire to get sanity, if u become to much insane ur head explodes

Yo, try Sonic Showdown, it’s really cool. Btw there’s taunts by pressing T, and forward dash by doing M2
if you want to not get bothered by voidwalkers you should go out in the sea (luminant doesn't matter) and look for the event with 2 ships (red & white sails), there kill every etrean (pink armor) until "Knives of Eylis" no longer see you as worth fighting (neutral rep with them), and make sure you have neutral or good rep with every faction (except ministry, legion, and navae, they don't matter)
While on a ship you can change the way the sails are facing to increase your speed. To do it you just have to steer your flag the same way the flag on the top of your ship is facing.
Btw if you die with that discolored health bar, you don't wipe instantly. You get sent to an area where you can wipe if you die, but can escape that area back to the surface. So you still have a chance
When fighting, you can press g to vent if the blue bar under your armour is filled enough, and it makes space between you and your enemy.
there is a bar under ether called tempo bar it fill up during fight allowing you to escape combo by pressing G but be carful not to run out of it.
you can also get bell progression by killing bosses, bell is a secret power up for noob to used it press C :).

If your ever getting cooked by someone or a bunch of enemy’s you can press g to vent (pushes people away) but you need to have some tempo (little blue bar above your hot bar)
