I'm 35 years old, lived in Montgomery County almost all my life and I've never been here before. I am so surprised to find out that the train is real!! I've always thought that it was a 5/10 down-scaled version or smaller that was operated remotely from some office in that place. When you only see it on t.v. you never know how big it is.
I remember this when i was a teenager. The Enron name was short lived since Enron collapse couple of years later. After that, it was renamed to what is now Minute Maid Park aka THE JUICE BOX.
I was there at the game against the Rangers. And I saw a Ranger hit a home run right over my head in the Crawford Boxes. Yep, that was going to be a thing for a very long time.
2000 was the start of the new baseball stadium for the Houston Astros.
Man am I jazzed by this find.

MLBs most UNDERRATED Ballpark! I love that place! I’m here in Cincinnati and Great American Ballpark Sucks!
Yes, Minute Maid Park is definitely one of the best stadiums. I like Target Field and Truist Park as well.
I don’t recall them allowing the train to steam any more.
Awesome seems like yesterday.
Great ballpark!!! But what's the story on the grassy knoll out in right center field?????????????????????????????
Bob Ford's voice got a lot better with age
The one problem are the Crawford boxes. It's too close to the field. Players can get easy homeruns when they hit it there.
That ain't no problem. They are great seats feels like you're on the field.
Must have never been to Yankee stadium
The name "Enron Field" aged like milk 🤣
That cool
crazy astros never were a good team when this stadium opened until 2017
W.S appearance in 2005. They were pretty good through the 2000s, just not as good as the Cardinals
While the ballpark is beautiful ❤️. The name didn't last😅.
8:02 this guy breaks down how the Astros cheated in 2017.
😂
