Hi my name is curtis and i am a big john deere fan i love john deere tractors and john deere combines i think that john deeres are the best machines to have on a farm
Hi from Geraldton in Wester Australia. Have become a big fan of the vids, especially the repairs. Great looking new machine. Can see some massive quality and engineering improvements over the speed rower. I hope your investment turns profit from the first field. Thank you for inviting your viewers into your farm and providing some of the best entertainment on the web.
The weather has been regularly wet. Nice change. So far the year looks very good, touch wood... Most of the seeding appears to be done. A lot of canola has gone in locally and i have seen more than a few fields of lupin planted. Other than that there is wheat, wheat and wheat. All of it growing very nicely.
Too cold there! Beautiful country though. Wes is very good at improvisation. He saves alot of trouble and money by getting in and fixing his machines. Does very professional work too.
Hi Wes. Congrats on your new W235. The few things with the controls and the seat you will pick up quickly. As you say "I will get used to that" This seat is second to none for long hour days! Awsome machine, which I hope you will be happy with. I also wish rain for you. Running an operation at the scale you do makes it scary when the weather wont behave....
Thanks for posting Wes,I have bin looking forward to seeing her in action. Agree with you about the hay.My brother made hay memorial day.The fields produced a little over a 3rd of what they normally do.His farm is just a crossed the river from you.Good luck with the new mower.Best wishes to you and the family
That's a great looking machine, good luck with it. We didn't have rain here in MD for a month either, but in the last week or so we've been dumped on a lot. the grass is growing like crazy.
The machine looks great! I hope for your good luck with it. I enjoy page very much. I look for it every day. Keep the good work! I'm a truck driver in Ok. City, Ok. I drive for Hobby Lobby and I love my Company. God Bless you and yours!
That looks like a pretty sweet toy. I hear you about the rain. We didn't have hardly a drop for a month here in north central Ohio until this past Saturday night. It dumped 2.7" Saturday night through sunday. We needed it bad, but a little slower would have been nice. A lot of it ran off instead of soaking in, but we'll take what we can get cause there is nothing we can do about it anyhow.
Cut 80 acres with ours today. Hay cutting dude.Run over deer antlers last week had to replace right tractor tire. Got a lot more than 50 hours on our brake oil. Only thing I don't like so far is having to blow radiators out so often .. Just like our 4995.
I wish you would take some of our rain rained almost everyday in May and June is starting out the same way here in Kansas just south of KCMO!!!! Really do like your videos always very interesting and informative! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
If my grandpa were alive to see these tractors today. Come a long ways from open Farmall sitting in the sun all day. Couple of tires costs enough to get my daughter some braces! Ha!
Mowed the nicest hay ive ever saw in June today. We had a very dry 1st half of spring but then it was a nice steady 3 days of rain here in central n.y.
That joystick is the same thing in the Deere combines. You will love those 1,2,3,4 etc, Our 9660sts is similar with the raising up and down, perfect for harvesting soybeans.
Will you be extending that disc mower anytime soon? Would really like to see how that goes. Also you mentioned on a older video the possibility of a mushroom farm tour. Will you be able to do that? Great videos I always enjoy!
Your lack of rainfall seems to mirror our lack of rainfall here in East Central Georgia. We got some relief last night with over two inches falling after dark so I hope you can get the same.
We were really dry here a few years ago. Told the Lord I would give 100 dollars a day to charity for 5 days. By the third day it was raining cats and dogs . All our tanks are full and all our grass is green. Cutting hay like crazy.❤😊 Prove Me saith the Lord and see if I'll not open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing which you will not have room enough to recieve it. ❤😊
Breakin oil is still available. It is high in Zinc particulate. Recomended for use on any engine that you have done a breaking of the cylinder glaze. It runs $40 a gallon with John Deere. Granted rebuild shops can sell you it by the quart at $10 each (yes same price). And yes, change the oil after 10 hours of use or if in a car, after 500 miles. As to the new mower. May this one exceed in all expectations where the NH did not.
You can have some of our rain. We've been getting almost nonstop rain for the past month. Have record rainfall and flooding in the sheveport, Louisiana area. Along with north texas and southern Oklahoma
My family doesn't do hay, we just rent off our hay fields, so its interesting to see the inside of one of these. Looks just like our S670, so have you used it yet?
Hi Wes! Gratulations to your new machine! But, what ist the great benefit against the Krone Big M 420 or 500? Here in Germany we do our hay mostly with disc mowers on the tractor. Some greater contractors do the hay with Krone Big M oder older Claas Cougars. Those Windrowers we don´t know here.. Thank You!
Christoph Th As Wes once stated he can buy almost three windrowers for the price of one Big M and if a Big M breaks down there is a good chance he will have to wait a week or more for replacement parts to arrive from Europe. As for triple mowers he just wasn't impressed with their performance in tough hay. Remember he isn't cutting soft forage hay; he is cutting tough composting grass.
I saw Messicks has a NH 240 Speedrower listed in their latest insert in Lancaster Farming; would that be your old, reliable self-propelled mower?? Seems like they turned it around fast, wanting to get it off their lot.
I know, I know. Wasn't sure if it was his, or if someone else had one in the area they had traded back/given up on. I just didn't know when Wes had sent it back, and if they would have sold it directly or traded off to another dealership.
"if you don't like my videos , well that's too damn bad for you " that is a good one , but I have to ask if this quote could also apply "if you like my videos , thumbs up , or or take an ass whoopin' , don't like that well that's too damn bad for you " jokes aside , that does sound like something you would actually say lmao
Please Wes 🙏🙏🙏 tell me whats the problem with the steering wheel in P Position??? Why Crazy things?? And why both machines NH and the JD? Pleeeaaase explain it to me 🙏🙏 I dont hit it 🤦♂️🤦♂️
The grass is growing like crazy down here.in Md..especially on the interstate between Baltimore and Washington...the highway department grass cutters are out in full force early this year. It makes me wonder why they don't let farmers harvest the grass on the highways......or at least let them put out some cattle on nose rings like caraboa in the Philippines ... :-)
What a nice looking machine and very well thought out by the looks of it. I hate ad blue after the mis hap I had in a truck yesterday, got covered and it started burning at my skin😠 stupid filler tank
Mack Thompson it did on me but I do have contact dermatitis, things like liquid soap set it off and the ad blue really enflamed my hands and part of my arm.
How much slower is a triple compared to the windrower and why don't you run Greenstar on it greats bit of kit that could be used for the other pad tractors that you run
Wes that 24:00 hour clock isn’t just European we use it in the military granted the Air Rorce only uses 8 of the 24 we use the 25/8 version on submarines and US Marines just go & go & GO
Ive got a heston 9260 its on its last leg. A new header is 30,000 I dont think its worth it I think later this year or this winter I will be ordering the same thing you got wes.
Thanks for the video, hope you have good luck with the machine. All the new technology SCARES ME. If I were you, I would have bought a nice clean used one about 4 years old that didn't have junk like DEF and Break in fluid on the hubs and junk like that. Again hope you have good luck with it. Also, I'd find me a new dealer, I think your Dealer is on crack cocaine bringing you a new one with no fuel in it..
Greetings from finland :) Nice machine, are you doing video when you are woeking woth that machine, We dont have those in here Europe, equipment here is bit different :)
We had an issue with the Titan tires on our new 8235R. I guess leakage was a pretty common problem with that brand.

Daniel Beard hey how is the weather in geralton will you have a good harvest this year
The weather has been regularly wet. Nice change. So far the year looks very good, touch wood... Most of the seeding appears to be done. That cab is the same as the S series combines, with a few differences in controls. Nice and quiet, and really can't be beat.

Beautiful machine. I have operated JD for many, many years. Great machines
The machine looks great! I hope for your good luck with it. I enjoy page very much. I look for it every day. Keep the good work! I'm a truck driver in Ok. City, Ok. I drive for Hobby Lobby and I love my Company. God Bless you and yours!

Nice looking machine! Can't wait to see it in action and I do hope it gives you better results than the last one.
That looks like a pretty sweet toy. I hear you about the rain. We didn't have hardly a drop for a month here in north central Ohio until this past Saturday night. Nice to see that you have your replacement for the no rower
Sweet machine! I can't wait to see the big green beast in action.
The flathead is lonely no more. Nice John Deere. I've spent some time in a John Deere 700.
Yeah that flat head is going to go into a 55 gallon drum of oil and diesel to loosen it up a bit
If my grandpa were alive to see these tractors today. Come a long ways from open Farmall sitting in the sun all day. Couple of tires costs enough to get my daughter some braces! Ha!
Wow nice mower Wes can't wait to see it run
Mowed the nicest hay ive ever saw in June today. We had a very dry 1st half of spring but then it was a nice steady 3 days of rain here in central n.y.
congrats on the mean green machine, get ready to start enjoying life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck with it , looks to be a nice machine
That joystick is the same thing in the Deere combines. You will love those 1,2,3,4 etc, Our 9660sts is similar with the raising up and down, perfect for harvesting soybeans.

Sweet machine,
Hope it serves you well for thousands of hours !

Green star 3 is a handy tool it tells you the time it tells you other things that I have forgotten
Wes I like the way you tell the truth about things and I like your videos please keep making the videos thank you
Glad you finally got it, hopeful it starts raining and you get to use it
We got your exact swather and it works excellent and you will love it
Will you be extending that disc mower anytime soon? Would really like to see how that goes. Also you mentioned on a older video the possibility of a mushroom farm tour. Will you be able to do that? Great videos I always enjoy!
Good looking machine I wish I could use it for a wk. I would be done but I guess I will plug along with my Kuhn mower.
Your lack of rainfall seems to mirror our lack of rainfall here in East Central Georgia. We got some relief last night with over two inches falling after dark so I hope you can get the same.

That mower is about as quiet as my T7.170 New Holland. I have it since March and has worked well so far.
NICE!!!!!!.Gotta love the Deere

As to the new mower. May this one exceed in all expectations where the NH did not.
Have you ever looked at a macdon swather? I live next to a farm that uses them and they work pretty nice (my preference at least)
Congratulations sir, I know that's super exciting :-D
wondering if u have used this tractor yet and is there any videos of it in action or are those still in the works
You can have some of our rain. We've been getting almost nonstop rain for the past month. Have record rainfall and flooding in the sheveport, Louisiana area. Along with north texas and southern Oklahoma

Hi Wes! Gratulations to your new machine!
But, what ist the great benefit against the Krone Big M 420 or 500? Here in Germany we do our hay mostly with disc mowers on the tractor. Some greater contractors do the hay with Krone Big M oder older Claas Cougars.

Don't think we have that type of mower over here in the UK. Most are Big M or Claas/ deer/ Kuhn triples. Hope it does you, proud Wes!

How is your newly planted hay doing with the lack of rain?
You can have my rain from Kansas City Missouri. Rained every day in May and 2 inches today alone.
Downin southeast Texas, we got over a foot of rain last week. The rivers and everything have risen by over 50 feet
That's the same story here in OK. My field just dryed out enough to get in it yesterday.
