Yup. My mid field with cm dm supp, mezzala att with iwb supp on mezzala side really working so well even with average players but hard working

I do like what positional play has bought to the game and some of the attacking movement in the latest ME is very attractive. That said, I always remind myself to look at how the opposition are defending against me and pausing the video at 1:37 I think SI still have some tidying up to do.

Hi… I’m using a 442 but with 2 DMs on Support duties and a LM & RM but with my LB and RB on wingback attack duties… pls I need advice on what role to give to my LM and RM that’ll complement the wingbacks who attack and still create chances for the team.. at the moment I’m thinking wide midfielders on support duties… I’m using an AF and DLF ST pairing up front too

you should do a pressing guide, individual players pressing and team

For the tactic in the first part of the video where there is an iwb and a wb, will it matter if I have the iwb on support instead of defend?

I have used them on support but you will get punished with fast opposition wingers so be wary. Can do it in a 532 as your cbs will cover

Lovely stuff in Attack, but what happens when you lose the ball. In FM23 I would get hammered down that IWB side in the 4231.

That will be the risk/reward my friend. Every approach is going to have a negative and you've nailed this one's. Possible option is to have regroup on instead of counter press
