  • Hello Im Lance (aka Bundy Bear) and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advise to customers.
Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandtractorspares.co...
We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you dont see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au and we will help where we can.
I do try and help with technical advise at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

Hi Lance - great catch up, seems like a long time since your last video - that bonnet is certainly going to keep you busy! Look forward to seeing the end result.

That bonnet is looking pretty good to me. My old 1967 Ford 3000 is very tatty indeed.
The rear fenders and the bonnet, look as if they have gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, very second hand, I bought it like that.
I have made my own canopy for it, and it turned out better than I expected.

I suppose it depends on what you want to do with a tractor, I have some with no guards that I still use.

@@BundyBearsShed I will tidy it up cosmetically eventually, but I've prioritised maintenance first as it's been in use ploughing and harrowing. Planted some Rhodes grass recently.

Another great stew Lance. Panel work is not my favourite, in fact I actively avoid it! That Farmall looks like a cracking little tractor! Look forward to seeing more of that in the future. Good luck with the bonnet, I’m sure it will be a fantastic job when you’re done!

I hope so, Im not much of a panel beater either so it will take a while.

Hi lance. With regards to the bonnet problems most of it could be fixed with lead loading ( filling ) and filed smooth, Plenty of vids on youtube.
With a bit of practice you will soon get the hang of it . Hope this helps..

Good to see you back on the air, Hollywood. Thanks for the stew, very tasty. Bonnets are a problem trying to get a good one, probably better off dealing with the one you have. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Geoff, Yes may be the old one was less work but we know now. I should get a good one from the remains of the old ones.

Reminds me a bit of our battery cover - it's all original and was in good condition until one day I took it off for something and put it behind the seat, then later on raised the lift fully which crushed it between the seat and toplink. That bent it slightly and no matter what we do we can't get it to sit snug any more.

It's good that you set the standard high on the restoration quality but how good was the bonnet fit on the tractors when they were new. I bet they just banged them out and they were generally pretty average. You look set to win the best bodywork parade. They all squeaked and rattled and needed a thump to close when Massey did them.

G Day David, The old bonnets I have have nice clean curves and lines and things line up way better than this one but Ill see hoe good I can get it. Its not a show tractor but I like to do my best on them.

G day Harrold, I think it would have been made in the 1950s. It is a British made machine I believe. Really good adjustable table just like on a knee mill.

first fuel tap threads and BSP vs NPT, and now bearings and imperial vs metric! pity they weren't so willing to fix the fuel taps :(

I could not get anyone on a facebook page or forum to take the fuel tap fault up. so nothing has happened from what I understand.
