Brian's pure poetry about a girl he had a crush on at university but was too shy to approach. The soaring guitar and piano are breathtaking.

Freddie's mother said when he was a boy he begged to go to the parties his parents were invited to so he could perform for the guests. They took him along. I'd give anything to see little Freddie going at it with no piano, just his little boy voice. You're so right, he was born for this, and he gave it all to us. Freddie embodied music, singing, performing. Beautiful reaction to a beautiful song. Thank you.

This is the most amazing version of this most beautiful song ever. Brian wrote an incredible song it was brought to life here. The whole band played exactly how they needed to to produce the most outstanding instrumental. Freddie and Brian were so in sync it's mindblowing. Then there's Freddie's vocals; OMG!!What a journey this song takes you on. Thank you for reacting. 💜💜💜💙💙💙🧡🧡🧡❤❤

And that part of the song - 3:00-4:45 of this video - just piano and guitar, like pure duet between them - it's just incredible, so amazing, so intimate, no need no words, but you can feel it - like two lovers whispering the words of love, baring their souls, their minds and then everything sparks - all emotions, all the passion, all the grief and pain at the same time... what a masterpiece!!!

Great reaction BECKY. This is one of my favorite preformances. The song itself is so beautiful. BRIAN MAY wrote it and FREDDIE sang the crap out of it. The jamming session between the lyrics is so beautiful with FREDDIE and BRIAN thats part of my favorite to hear the two of them just go off. Thank you BECKY for doing QUEEN. Take care and have a good day. Your friend, QUEEN BEE.

This is one of my Queen favourites. Beautiful song, and amazing performance by Freddie Mercury. The musicianship from the whole band is outstanding. Thank you for your reaction. Another reactor recommended getting headphones to listen to Queen so I did that and what a great difference it makes. In the instrumental part of White Queen, each ear hears different melodies synchronising and blending but yet separate! The headphones/earphones really give another dimension.

I always imagine a Tolkien world with the Elfin Queen walking slowly in her beautiful flowing white dress! ..... “And all around the air did sway my lady soon will stir this way in sorrow known. The white Queen walks and the night grows pale ... stars of lovingness in her hair heeding unheard pleading one word” OMG! Great reaction Rebeka!

An absolute masterpiece. The of the musicians is outstanding and the theatrical delivery of Freddie just blows you aware. He has stage presence like no other. But in the end it is his voice that kills you. There is just something about it that puts a dagger in your heart. Other sing equally well, but nobody can express the emotion like he does. That's set him apart. Cheers from a Queen fan since 1975.

IMO the live version (as with so many of Queens songs) of this song has a greater dimension than the album version. I saw them perform this live in 1974 at the Bournemouth
Winter Gardens - Killer Queen was in the charts and rising. For a fourteen year old schoolboy my mind was blown! Now, as an oldish fart, I still adore Queen and how their music
evolved. I still think Queen 2 and Shear Heart Attack are still up there and that March of the Black Queen is a definite precursor of Boh Rap. It also shows Brian May's superb
composing and songwriting which is often overshadowed by God Mercury. I adore your reaction vids Rebeka as you don't interupt like 99.9% of others on YT!!! I know its not
politically correct (I come from a time before that S--t) but you are STUNNING!!! Oh, and have great taste in music. Keep doing what you are doing. PS. I don't buy many CD's
but got Miley C's Plastic Hearts the day it was released as had I fallen in love with Midnight Sky. Great album and what a voice!!

The one thing I am always in most pain over, is that we don't have MORE video footage of Freddie's piano playing! Did you know: Fred's musical peers said that they had never seen anyone else play in the same manner that he did, except Liberace? 0_0 And, I totally understand why - in the 80s - he decided to play piano less onstage because he wanted the freedom to run around/interact with the audience more, but.... the loss of him on the keys!! :/
Rebeka, sometime can you PULEAZE react to the medley at Wembley: "Lap Of The Gods Revisited"/"Seven Seas Of Rhye".... (There's a QUICK mind-blowing piano bit, that will show you up-close, exactly why Freddie's piano skills are inhuman!

Not sure if it was intentional but your black and white video suited this song perfectly. It is off Queen II which had side white (Brian and 1 Roger songs) and side black (Freddie songs). Freddie wore black nail polish on his left hand and Brian wore white nail polish on his left hand. They went to Zandra Rhodes for costumes in 1974 before the Rainbow concert. Brian said everyone assumed Freddie pushed them into them but they were right into it. Brian wore this beautiful butterfly wing top for a few years, among others. Apparently he has kept all his stage costumes. Freddie didn't think he was very good at piano because he quit at grade 4 (as did Brian). He could listen to anything and play by ear. Seven Seas of Rhye will show you how fast he could play. For Roger's phenomenal backing vocal please react to In The Lap of the Gods Live At the Rainbow 1974 (not Revisited version at the end) and Stone Cold Crazy Live at the Rainbow 1974.

Oh now that you've done "White Queen" next up should be "Black Queen/Funny How Love Is" off of the same album "Queen II". I reccomend doing both as that's the way they appear on the album and you kinda miss out on the ending of "Black Queen". As for the clothes, well we kond of dressed a bit different back then then kids our age now dress. Plus this was a part of the "Glam" era of British bands.

Love this one. Unrequited love a la Dr. Brian May. Sometimes I wonder if she ever realized?
    They are all fantastic here.
Elton is a classically trained pianist. Freddie played mostly be ear. Which I think is pretty evident when you watch making of videos. He basically sounds out what he’s asking for, rather than using music terminology. See One Vision or the acoustic take of who needs you.
Oh now that’s a great suggestion...who needs you acoustic, basically an early demo. And the very end (you have to wait for it) is adorable.

    I wanna talk about 3:30
At 11 March 2020 Wednesday, I was surfing on TH-cam, listening to Queen and having fun. At the time, this song was being recommended to me for few times. So I gave it a try. It was about 10 Pm. With the darkness of the night, I started to enjoy this Masterpiece. Then the solo part came. It was pretty good, but the note that Brian May hit, which is the highest E flat, I still remember it clearly, I made the exact same face and reaction as you. I grimaced my face and FELT IT VERY DEEPLY. It was magical. Appriciate it to making me feel the same feelings after a long time.🤍🤍

thanks, Rebeka - this is one of my favorite examples of the perfect interplay between Freddie and Brian -- those keys and guitar are perfectly timed! (you will see below the story about how Brian wrote the song... I wonder if that girl ever came to know that she was the inspiration!) - also, you might enjoy "Save Me" live at Montreal 1981 -- another Brian song with that perfect collaboration - Brian starts on keys (with his guitar in lap!) - and the transition when Freddie goes to the piano and Brian emerges with guitar is unbelievable - th-cam.com/video/GBEIjyrdwRo/w-d-xo.html
