Loving & wanting his White Queen from afar but lacking the courage to approach. I’ve always associated this hauntingly beautiful song to a Tolkien book. I was pleasently surprised of this Live performance wich was filmed by BBC and broadcasted later on. I believe the only mastering done on this was to clean up the original feeds to eliminate stage noise, audience noise and get a better mix , but that's about it . I do not believe I have ever heard anyone give such a real , down to Earth and heartfelt reaction as you just did . You put in words what I feel every time I hear Freddie perform his almost supernatural magic in a song. Queen were to Rock Pop music , what Mozart was to Classical. Pure Virtuoso.
Nope. Music just didn’t have auto tune. Queen always rehearsed and were amazing. Freddie sang with such power and beauty live as well as recorded. Such talent! ❤ Freddie and Brian’s piano and guitar dance with John and Roger holding it all together with their skill. Geniuses.

John Deacon is the best bass player I’ve ever heard, Brian May was intense on that guitar, Roger was brilliant on the skins and Freddie….well, he was in a league of his own. They couldn’t hear properly for days, their ears were ringing. They both said it was an incredible experience, a proper show from start to finish.
