Your ETF picks for long-term investing in Australia are spot on. Any chance you could explore Fuse Minerals in your next video? It's an intriguing one that might fit well in the long-term game.
I maintain a 3-fund portfolio allocation: 33% S&P, 33% Total Stock, and 33% International. Lately, I've been inclined towards maximizing growth, transitioning to a 100% stock allocation. However, I'm concerned about potential overlap between the S&P 500 and Total Stock Market. Unfortunately, I've experienced losses in the past month, which is making me quite anxious. It's challenging to see my $450k portfolio decline, given the hard work I've put into it. I'm uncertain whether to sell everything, adopt a wait-and-see approach, or take another course of action.
I enrolled in some trading courses, but they didn't provide significant help. I've received recommendations to consult a qualified financial advisor. How did you initiate contact with your coach?
He does seem knowledgeable and well-informed. I simply conducted a Google search using his name and found his website. Thank you for sharing this information.
Thanks Queenie! Great video. And thanks for those “secrets” 😆😊 Did not know that some of those ETFs like VAS had reduced their fees again! Also didn’t know VTS out performed IVV by that much!
@@reecem2801 also have to consider that Blackrock iShares is for profit, where Vanguard is essentially a non-profit, because it is owned by the investors in its funds. So would be nice if VTS or VOO was listed and domiciled in Australia.
Interesting picks! How about exploring the potential of Cobre for long-term investing? It's an emerging player worth looking into. Keep up the great content!
Hy Queenie. Thanks for your video. Always helpful. As I am new to investing. I wanted to invest in ASX 200 but when I searched for ASX. There are so many options popping up. could you please help me with what's the best ASX to invest in as well. I invested in VAS by watching your previous videos. Thank you
Thanks for the broad overview of the funds! I did a deep dive that I think would be a good compliment to your overview covering VAS on my channel. Although I noted the risks of VAS from an American perspective.
Using a CHESS sponsored broker mean that the shares are yours. Some brokers hold the shares for you, like Vanguard’s proprietary broking platform, and if they were to go broke your shares might be lost. The stock exchange itself is unlikely to go broke.
Hi Queenie, sorry, where did you get the 16.65% p.a. return in 5 years for ETHI? as well as for each ETF? im a newbie in investing and I follow your channel. I also listened in your interview in aussiefirebug podcast a while back. I think you're an amazing individual!👍
Aww thanks so much for the support! It’s on the website! They update the numbers regularly. Although, not every year could have those returns (it’s way better than expected!) usually it’s from 5-10%!
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you cielo scotti.
I have a 3 fund portfolio but I have finally decided to invest in ETFs, alongside. I’m looking at SCHD, VOO, XLK or SCHG.
Just remember you will be taxed 15 on dividends in SCHD. It might be worth looking at companies that pay fully franked dividends like CBA or Westpac
I own a small business. Don't have time to go through 100's of companies. This video is a time saver and is based here in AUS. Thank you!

Show us return per annum, it's frustrating that it is inconsistently shown through the video.
I invest in VOO, SMH, SCHD, PPA, DXJ and Spaceships Universe portfolio. I’m up 9.3%

If I were you, I would not sell when its buyers market and vice versa. Better to talk to a financial planner they help considering your portfolio.
Queenie, if it's possible please try and delete these scam messages. I always read them and worry people will believe them!
Try swap the total stock market for QQQM. You will lean more into tech and lower some of your overlap.
S&P 100 OR 500 smoke local markets over 10 years. The return contrast is jarring.
Australian market is dominated by mining and banks, not really diversified. And you’re right, the returns have been quite average.
I will prefer BGBL instead VGS
How do banks fall under ethical investing. 🤷
Ha ha. Thinking the same thing.
Haha yeah different people have different ethics 🫡 the BetaShares ethical ETFs do tend to have tougher screening processes though!
And Amazon?
Thanks Queenie! Great video. And thanks for those “secrets” 😆😊
Did not know that some of those ETFs like VAS had reduced their fees again!
Also didn’t know VTS out performed IVV by that much!
Glad it was helpful Adrian!
VTS is a pain in the ass as its domiciled in the US
@@reecem2801 of course it is! But it doesn’t change the fact that it outperformed IVV over that time period which I didn’t expect.

@@reecem2801 why is it a pain? Because of losses in exchanges rates?

SECRET - thank you for sharing - there are more ETFs available than what my sister has told me
Why doesn’t everyone just pick the ones with best return?
You'll hear a common phrase that goes:
past performance does not guarantee future results.
Crazy how much higher the fees are on sustainable ETFs
SECRET Thanks for the update on ETFs, I didn't know about a couple of the newer ones.
Oo yay! So glad you got to learn about a few new ones 🥰 thanks for watching!
Hi Queenie, thanks hun for sharing the "secret" of investing 😁

SECRET! Thank you for the video- very informative
So which one is the best for my first investment at around $5000
Thanks for the video loved the secrets
How is tax calculated on etf returns? Great video 👍
Is it silly to own IVV and NDQ because both etfs have the same 10 top companies, having the overlap?
Yes . Run IVV with VAS or A200 ect then you get sp500 and Aus covered in two etfs
Hi @Queeni, i watched the video till end
Secret….Great video Dear,,
hi, great video. What i am afraid is what happens if for some reason the exchange is broke. Do we loose all money?
Using a CHESS sponsored broker mean that the shares are yours.
Some brokers hold the shares for you, like Vanguard’s proprietary broking platform, and if they were to go broke your shares might be lost.
The stock exchange itself is unlikely to go broke.
What are the advantages for buying through Vanguard? If I buy them through Stake, I would avoid management fees?
You still pay the management fees regardless of the platform you purchase through as they are within the fund.
