This gave me a thought......as a viewer i loved how you made it work. I think instead of you purchasing blocks off eBay, maybe have your viewers send you a block or two and we can watch you make a quilt all from your viewers.

This is charming as all get out! You created a cohesive whole out of very disparate parts and that's a unique talent! I LOVE the end result...it is endlessly fascinating to look at all the different parts. You have given honor and respect to women from the past in the making of this quilt. Thank you for sharing your process!

When I moved far from home (1975), I was dirt poor. I tried piecing some blocks with needle and thread. No sewing machine, no iron. My pieces would never lay flat, I never finished a project, but I enjoyed the process.
It’s wonderful to see you turn these orphans into a quilt. Bravo.❤
Now that I’m retired, I turn out a quilt every 4 to 6 weeks. It makes me very happy. I really enjoy your channel.

We always called them Orphan Blocks. I love working Orphan locks into Crazy Quilts. Yes. I cut the Orphan blocks to fit them in. That is called a Classic Pin Wheel. My Sewing Room dropped a video today showing us how to cut and sew the fabric pieces together (much easier than I thought it would be). It should be listed as, Today's Quilt Block - Beautiful Pin Wheel - Simple Sewing. Wow! Your quilt is beautiful, and very interesting. Thank you.
