This VMA performance was incredible. Taylor knew how good he was and invited Benson to open for her at one of the Eras Tour dates at Wembley.
Benson has everything to become a timeless artist! Vocals, style, charisma, songwriter, incredibly athletic) He is an Oldschool outstanding talent! You're right! His performance was the best at VMA!

Benson's was one of the few performances that was actually sung live on the VMA's this year. I suffered through most of that show watching act after act doing bad lip synching - it was brutal. I'm not normally a fan of overuse of falsetto, but damn, this kid can definitely saaang! I was stoked that Taylor invited him to open on one of the London stops of Eras. He totally blew up this summer!
I saw online later why we didn't see a whole lot of Taylor during the show. They had a stationary camera literally focused on her seat the entire time and she was apparently not warned about that. I can't blame her for disappearing for long periods of time during the show - if I'm not mistaken that was the same day that DJT had posted "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT" on his social media, which adds such an extra layer of threats to her and her security team.
He sings BEAUTIFULLY live he gives a new kind of old school performance and makes it his own! Really love Benson Boone he’s a talented musician. (Swiftie here lol)
Saw him live this year in a crowd of just 2500. One night only gig in London. He didnt miss a note and when he hit the big note in Slow it down everyone's jaws hit the floor! Love benson! You need to react to that song, if you think this one shows his range. Slow it down blows this song away! My fave songs are What was, Forever and a day and Drunk in my mind. He does these vocals for every sing song. Not a single skip!
