He says he has only been singing since his senior year in high school. For some reason I see a little Bruce Springsteen in him. He also is a multi instrumentalist and co-writes the songs. BTW, just a quick note to say he is also an amazing gymnast!

Or the 2004 rock and roll hall of fame performance of while my guitar gently weeps. His solo st the end puts those other amazing musicians on stage with him look silly. Lol. Thanks always. The guy was training to be on the diving team and also acrobatic gymnastics. Maybe the strength of his core and diaphragm helped him to have that AMAZING voice?

Another unique song of benson Boone is “slow it down”. I would really appreciate your comments on this song to help me appreciate it even more. It is good to find out the reasons you like a particular voice or song when a professional like you tells you what is happening
Would really like to hear him sing an entire song without the assumed vocal affectation. I really like the songs, just not a big fan of the fake "lisp" technique.
No!!!! He actually has quite a weak "shaky" voice, his voice can;t quite hold a perfect note (hence his shaky voice), exactly Michael Rosenberg from Passenger.
I disagree. His voice is unique, which means no one can duplicate. It's his. I do not know who you are but you sound jealous He has not been singing long. I love his voice. I like Bob Seger, Don Henley. Raspy voices are sexy Hey. I am just a rock star in my car rolling down the interstate, not a professional. But I know what I like and he's it!
I listened to your song Boomerang. Not fond of it. I see why you cut Benson Boone. He just recently started singing. I know for a fact, vocals get only better as time goes on. He's got it, I would like to hear you sing this song. You don't have the range
Actually in music it's called vibrato and not many people can do it. Most ppl not too familiar with music wouldn't know this so it's understandable but his voice is actually the opposite of weak.

I wonder if he has tight vibrato because he was never vocally trained? It's very cool - I don't think powerful vocalists typically have tight vibrato.

@Mexxx65 actually his voice is unique. I doubt anyone could duplicate it. As a musician you should not discredit another, it can backfire.
