      This concert is 1986
When it finished he felt bad and realised it was more serious than normal fatigue and muscle aches
He said he was done cant fking do this anymore
They thought he was just in a bad mood
His hiv test came back negative but they were unreliable then they only started in 85
April 87 he was diagnosed with aids and sarcoma skin cancer
The band weren't told until innuendo album when he looked ill
He had pretended he had liver problems

Freddie's existance was all the more precious for its brevity. For not only will he be forever remembered for the songs he sang, he will be forever mourned for the songs he never got to sing.
If it is true that a man is never dead so long as his name is spoken, then Freddie Mercury truly will live forever.

While I LOVE this song and performance... it is impossible to have a favorite song! For me, my favorite Queen song is whichever one I'm currently listening to.... “My apologies but I say what I want.” 😂 There is only one Freddie Mercury!! And no one I mean no one can replace Mr. Fahrenheit!! OMG!! Yes, there are singers who are great only on a technical level .... but Freddie is the master of emotion & passion when it comes to singing the song! He sings like it’s the question he has been asking himself “who wants to live forever”? 💗👑💗👑

You are so right! Freddie’s voice was just spectacular- all natural, raw, God given talent! There is more to being a great vocalist than just being a technical trained singer. They can have great technique but lack energy, emotion, and connection to the song & audience. Freddie’s voice was versatile, rich with emotion, and you feel every word & note he sang! A powerful charismatic performer in addition to his iconic songwriting, production, artistic, and instrumentalist skills! 💯 Irreplaceable Legend!!

A journalist, I think it was a journalist, once said that Freddie's voice was "a force of nature with the velocity of a hurricane". I think this song, both the studio version and all the live versions of this song, show that to be true. Of course Freddie's voice is always amazing but some songs show the power and depth of his singing more than others. He just knew how to sing every song with the right emotion and where each note should be within every word. Just incredible. Oh dear, he is just the best.
Can you react to In My Defence. It's just Freddie, not Queen.

I feel so emotional having watched this - what an incredible performance by the whole band, but especially by Freddie. We won't see his like again, what a showman who as I've said before, could work a crowd and have them in the palm of his hand. Sad to think in a few short years he would be gone. Freddie can never, EVER be replaced. BUT....having said that, you really should check out Queen with Adam Lambert as the singer doing this song. The closest we will ever get to actually having Freddie still with us and still able to sing at that level.

That performance at the Isle Of Wight is right up there with the best ever from Queen Live. The way the crowd STOP singing along and just listen spellbound is amazing. I find it truly amazing and worth a reaction sometime.

Wembley was on two nights. Friday, July 11, and Saturday July 12, 1986. If you have a choice, choose Friday. After the gig on Friday there was quite a party. Freddie's voice suffered a bit on Saturday as a result. But even on a bad day, Freddie gives it everything he's got. Not disappointing any of his fans. There were other differences, as no two shows are alike, especially with some of Freddie's ad libs.
