Did you amplified the Signal or just recorder direct with your interface? i think i read somewhere that Piezo could produce a lot of voltage and could damage your gear. want to try it myself but unsure what would happen if i plug it direct into my mic input.
Yo! I ran this through a DI Box and that was it - the DI was just to eliminate a bit of hum but otherwise no limiters/protection was used for the interface. I haven't really ever heard of a contact mic damaging anything but I could be wrong. In general though, just a matter of good gain staging to make sure you're not blowing things up.
@Torgul i read an article at zachpoff about diy piezo mics and that they can produce up to 30V or so if hitted hard. There was a handmade schematic too in which were 2 LED diodes as somekind of fuse between the piezo and the Jack.
Completely new to this. Are there any microphones that you can plug directly to your computer via USB? Or what type of cord would I need to buy to make connectable to a USB port? Thanks.
Your splendid voice has an effect remarkably similar to that of 75% pure fair-trade Peruvian dark chocolate washed down with a steaming mug of freshly ground biodynamic Arabica. You are also very handsome and gifted. If I were a girl or gay, I'm sure I would have a big crush on you.
Probably wouldn't be my first choice but it may work. Here's an idea that may be more helpful: www.google.com/amp/s/submergedtapes.com/2019/06/05/diy-stethoscope-mic/amp/
Those gear manufacturer shirts are probably all nice and soft because they have been low pass filtered.
This is SO neat! I love it!
Super high production quality! I'm surprised your view count it so low...
How are you so good at making music?
Insane...
I guess I did it bad enough times to become pretty okay at it haha.
Amazing voice!!!!!!!!
Haha thanks dude
@@VenusTheory Yo what's your mic and vocal processing? Voice sounds way too good
4:07 sounds so satisfying
What would be a third-party equivalent of the Bitwig Sampler in Cycles mode to use in Logic? Looks very powerful

For sure! If you search USB Microphones on Amazon/Sweetwater/etc I'm sure you'll find a bunch. Most major mic companies also make USB mics.
Sounds great! Did you make a finished track of of it?
Cooooool
insane how you made the kick.. I'm using ableton and id really like to know what I could use to get the same result as that disperser
